The man in question seemed to fall through the sunroof and land lightly on his feet. Carmine gasped as he saw that he could still see a glair in the glass the man just went through.
"No trouble" he thought, "I just press the button and... where's the button?"
"I hate to break it to you, but I know that you lied on your application" came a chuckle as the man held what looked like the button in his hand, as if it was never connected to the wall in the first place. Carmine sighed, he didn't want to deal with these kind of shenanigains, but then again if he helped put a criminal in jail then he might get a raise. That was when he saw who the intruder was.
The intruder seemed to be related more to a tall stick than a human, with a pressed black suit and black top hat that added to the person's height. What was interesting to a creepy level was that he wore a smiling mask like the comedy mask in the pair of comedy and tradgety, though the smile was the man's own large ear to ear smile.
"I don't know who you are freak" Carmine began to say but the man but the character had a wand appear in his hand.
"Well let me introduce myself" he said spinning the wand on his finger before smoke began flooding the floor and in the moment of distraction the man was sitting on a large flashing bulb sign saying "THE ESCAPIST" with the diamond in his hand. Carmine quickly noticed this and used his superior speed to leap over the sign and grab the diamond.
"Your going to have to do better... than... that?" Carmine then noticed that the diamond in his hand was a big bright yellow rubber ducky. The Escapist had the diamond sitting on a flashlight, making the entire display room look like a disco.
"Wow, this is pretty" The Escapist commented, but he was now sitting on a large box, "now that I've set the mood, it's time to do a classic trick, cut the cheetah in half." He flexed a saw in his hands looking at the cheetah with a more evil grin.
So, what was Carmine going to do... Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
