  Chapter 1: A New Day   (ID #778762)
an addition by: blazing_dragon  More by this author

The sun rose over suburbia, peeking through the window waking up one high school student who had been peacefully sleeping. Groaning, Kris Widdick rolled onto his stomach to block out the sun and fall back asleep, but to no avail. Getting up, Kris started the shower, and began to plan his day. He was headed to the mall to pick out a gift for his girlfriend, Mandy. The two had been casually dating for a few months, but Kris really wanted to take their relationship to the next level. After showering, Kris grabbed a T-shirt and jeans, and ran a worn out comb through his scraggly brown hair.

Kris headed downstairs and greeted his family, sitting around the kitchen table. "Good morning, Kris." Kris' overprotective mother Laurie said. "I made you breakfast, with all the essential food groups!" Suppressing the urge to roll his eyes, Kris accepted the plate of blueberry pancakes, sausage links, and scrambled eggs. "Hey Dad, can I borrow some gas money? I want to go to that new mall that just opened up to get Mandy a birthday present." Kris asked his strict, military father, Reginald "Red" Widdick. "No, and aren't you grounded anyway?"

Laurie interupted before Kris could argue. " Oh hush, Red. He wants to do something nice for his girlfriend, not that you would know anything about that. Wanting to avoid a firefight, Red reached for his wallet, and pulled out a twenty. "Now get out of here before I change my mind and put my foot in your ass." Not wanting to test his luck, Kris thanked his father and grabbed his keys.

Just as he was about to leave, Kris' older sister Jackie sauntered into the kitchen. Like most older siblings, Jackie felt it was her duty to make her younger brother's life as miserable as possible. "Buying a present, huh? Don't you think you could use a woman's opinion?"

"Yeah, but Mom said she was busy." Kris countered. Glaring, Jackie brushed her blonde hair back, and poured herself a glass of juice. "Hey, don't come crying to me when everything comes crashing down because you derided to buy your girlfriend a comic nook or some other kiddie toy." Ignoring his sister's advice, Kris left the house and hopped in his silver Saab. Man I love this car. he thought to himself as he pulled out of his driveway. I was fairly certain he could hear his mother telling him to wear his seatbelt. Kris was on the highway, and began to think about his mission.

As much As be didn't want to admit it, Jackie was right. Mandy was Keis' dream girl, and couldn't afford to mess this up. They had had started out as just friends who met in Spanish class, but soon became more than that. Their tastes in music were nearly identical; They both loved video games, which was a surprise to Kris; They laughter at each other's stupid jokes, and they were always there for the other if they needed it.

Yep, she was perfect.

Her body was nothing to shake a stick at either. Very tight, her body didn't have an ounce of fat on it, but didn't look anorexic in the least. Her black, curly hair accented her pearly white smile, and beautiful bright blue eyes. Her breasts held high on her chest, and were nice in size, being a little more than a hand full. ( Not that Kris would know, not having gotten to second base). Her waist thin, and her legs long and shaeply, Mandy was the apple of Kris' eye.

In fact, Kris would have kept thinking about her if it weren't for the blaring horn of the Tractor Trailer right beside him. "Holy Shit!" Kris yelled, swerving back into hIs lane. A few more minutes of driving, and Kris was pulling into the parking lot of the new Bloomsburg City Shopping Center. "Jesus, this place is HUGE!" Kris said, looking at the mall directory. "Where should I start?"
