Kris opened the display case and pulled out a black ring with three large emeralds. On the inside of the band, there was an inscription that read "Ro3". The whole thing seemed to gleem in an eerie light.
"Shit, that one wasn't supposed to be out." Chelsea cursed under her breath. "Oh well, I guess it can't be helped. What you're holding in your hand is a very powerful artifact, The Ring of Three. Point it at someone, And it'll make any three word phrase you say true. So if I pointed the ring at you and said. "Two belly buttons", just like that it'll happen."
Kris nodded as he tried to process the information that was just given to him. "You really expect me to believe that?"
"Hey, if taking it for a test drive would help persuade you, then be my guest." Chelsea said, motioning to herself.
"Are you sure about this?" Kris hesitated
"My, very cautious for someone who's so sure nothing's going to happen." His logic defeated, Kris slipped the ring on his finger, and pointed at the amazon clerk. "Four Feet Tall!" he shouted. To his surprise, Chelsea's heigt began to drop dramatically, but none of the mall patrons seemed to notice. By the time Chelsea had stopped shrinking, she was at eye level with Kris' navel. Her green sweater reached her knees, and her khakis were around her ankles.
It was the shrunken shopkeep who broke the silence. "Mind fixing me now that you've had your fun?" Kris
quickly pointed the ring back to her, and said, "Back to Normal". Kris found himself gettig aroused watching her body grow back into it's normal massive proportions. "Thank you very much, Chelsea. I'm sure Mandy I'll love this."
"Wait, I just showed you the possibilities of a magical artifact of that power, and you're still going to give it to your girlfriend instead of keeping it for yourself?" Chelsea asked, bewildered
"Well, I came over here looking for a gift, and it would seem right to take it for myself." Kris explained. "What can I say? My parents raised me right."
"You know what? I think I had you all wrong." the clerk admitted. "i'm sure your girlfriend will love her gift." Smilng, Kris walked away from the booth, and put the ring I. His pocket for later. Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
