"Let's go!" Mandy yelled. "We gotta save our families!" and with that, the entire group snapped into action, and ran out into the street, brandishing their weapons. The second they pulled out either swords, spears, and staffs, every one of the little goblin creatures turned their heads and charged. Each one was only about three feet tall, but carried a dangerous looking pitchfork. Within seconds, they were surrounded by the 100 or so little Hobgoblins.

"Get ready, they could attack at any sec---." Kris didn't get to finish that sentance, as one of the little demon spawns leaped at him. Kris immediately snapped into action, cracking it in the face with his spear. The monster fell, and disappeared with a puff of smoke. Unfortunately, at the fall of their comrade, the rest of the goblins decided to swarm our heroes.

"Here! Watch my back!" Jenni said, motioning for everyone to get behind her. Bravely accepting her role as a tank, used her sword and shield to fend off the demons, while shrugging off pitchfork stabs that just felt like minor scratches. Several of them fell, but still more were attacking. Kaitln noticed her staff was glowing a bright light. "I've got an idea! Everyone cover your eyes!" the Mage said, raising her staff.

Flashblind!

With a flash of light, half the goblins were on the ground, clutching their eyes. Seeing their opportunity, the party took out the stunned creatures with their weapons, or just stomped on them until they poofed away in a cloud of smoke. "My turn now!" Mandy said. "Everyone get away, this could get nasty!" Everyone did as told, leaving Mandy alone in the circle. "Okay Kait, focus your magic on my blade!" Kaitlyn the Mage did as told, and fired a mana bolt at Mandy sword, making it glow white hot. Gripping her broadswords, Mandy began to spin around, killing any enemy in a six foot radius. (Wasn't joking about the size of her sword.)

Soon, there were few demons left standing, and the ones that were were fleeing the scene. "Yes! We did it!" Kris said, going up for a celebratory high five, only to see his part members frozen in their victory stances.
