Kris and Kaitlyn wandered for awhile, looking for a good place to start their shopping. "So what are you looking for, anyway?" Kaitlyn asked. Kris was silent for a few seconds, thinking. "You know, I haven't the foggiest." he replied. "I was really planning on having something catch my eye." Kris could see that his redheaded companion was fighting the urge to grind her teeth, so he quickly stopped her from voicing her disapproval. "Let me rephrase that. I don't want to want to get Mandy some normal gift. I'm looking for something...out there...special." Kris explained.

The two kept walking, until they came upon a small store with a wooden door. The door itself was brightly colored, and read "Cartooning U" on it in big curvy bubble letters. The whole thing looked a bit cartoony. "This place looks good." Kris said, walking in with Kaitlyn in tow. Upon entering the building, Kris saw that the inside was more realistic looking, but still filled with bright colors. There was a workshop with people posing for their own cartoon portraits.

"Good Afternoon Young Man, Young Lady." an older man said to them from across the room. He wore a black beret and held a pencil behind his ear. "Welcome to Cartooning U. My name is Leo, and would either of you be interested in getting Cartooned?"

"Well, here's the thing. I'm looking to get a gift for my girlfriend. It's her birthday today." Kris explained. "Only problem is, she isn't here right now." The artist stroked his goatee, pondering the situation. "Do you have any type of gift certificate program? You know, so I dont have to show up at her house tonight with nothing but an apology."

"I've got an even better idea." The artist said...

"I suppose that might be a good idea."
