My whole vision was blurring, sweat in my eyes. I felt like I was going to pass out. I couldn't tell if the ryoka or Captain Zaraki was more dangerous. I no longer cared. I just wanted to get out of here as soon as possible. I tried to look up. The ryoka, Ichigo Kurosaki, was actually standing up to Captain Zaraki. They were obviously speaking, but I couldn't hear. Captain Zaraki said something and then Ichigo grabbed for his zanpakutô. Suddenly, he looked behind him. I don't think he saw me. He seemed to be mostly concerned about his friends. Hanatarô seemed to be completely out, panting on the ground. The man next to him from the Rukongai (I think I heard Ichigo scream his name... Ganju?) was also in pain, but on one knee.
However, I was completely surprised when Lieutenant Kusajishi appeared from behind Captain Zaraki. Ichigo was surprised as well. In the blink of an eye, she stepped onto Ichigo's shoulder and made a comment about Hanatarô, I think. Ichigo then tried to knock her off his shoulder. He said something to Ganju and Ganju went dashing off, holding Hanatarô. I took this opportunity to try and escape the scene, hoping to not be seen by anyone. I got up, straining, and stumbled into a run, following Ganju. Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
