From across the bridge, I could see an obvious surprised and frightened look on Hanatarô and Ganju's face. They stood there then they turned to each other, seemingly arguing with Rukia the subject, as Ganju started to point to her. They argued for a bit then Hanatarô stated something and Rukia and Ganju both gained a surprised and concerned look. They spoke a bit more then Hanatarô bowed before turning around and stepping out onto the bridge toward Captain Kuchiki. He must be insane. I thought, before realizing that he's doing all of this to save Rukia. I noticed Ganju starting outside, especially when he screamed at the top of his voice, startling Hanatarô and me, probably Rukia as well. Ganju stepped over to Hanatarô and then kicked him back toward Rukia then proceeded to face Captain Kuchiki. Ganju put his hands together then said, "Come little master! I'll be your opponent today!". The Captain then began to say, "I felt some faint spiritual pressure going toward the Senzaikyû... I thought it was someone strong holding back his spiritual pressure... But it was nothing but... a big fat bug. How dull..." Behind him, I could see Hanatarô doing his best attempt to hold Rukia back, although, when she got outside, she fell to her knees, most likely because she's probably not used to such high spiritual pressure after being in the sekkiseki walls of the Senzaikyû. Hanatarô then said something to Rukia, and soon afterward Ganju jumped forward with his blade toward Captain, seemingly shocking Rukia and Hanatarô. Ganju then smirked before changing weapons from his blade two a few bombs, but Captain had used shunpo past him, surprising Ganju and then Captain stated, "Begone." Which then, Ganju's arm seemed to have bursted, bleeding. Ganju turned around facing Byakuya again, although injured. Captain Kuchiki stated something to him then Ganju began to yell, "Blah blah blah! You're noisy! I don't know how it is with you nobles. But a coward that could be scared away by something like that... Does not exist in the Shiba family!!" Captain then started, "Shiba...? Oh...? You are from the Shiba family...? ...Then I'm sorry I didn't hit you hard enough. I'll make sure that... you don't walk away from this alive..." Captain Kuchiki started to draw his sword. Realizing I could be in great danger, I jumped back, hiding behind the corner building near me, and continued to watch the battle. He held his zanapakutô in front of him, with the flat edge toward him. I tensed up, now afraid, as he stated the death words. "Scatter, Senbonzakura." His blade disappeared. Ganju was obviously surprised. I could hear Rukia scream "RUN!!!" But it was too late. Wounds opened up all over Ganju, on all sides, on every part of his body that I could see. Blood was flying everywhere. Hanatarô and Rukia were shocked into place. Ganju was most likely dead. And Byakuya was the calm in the storm.
