The girl’s face changed its expression once more, this time to surprised look. “That’s strange,” The girl thought aloud. Roxas, curious, then replied, “What’s strange?” The girl then glared Roxas, saying, “I can feel you’re breathing…but for some reason, I can’t feel your heart pulse. Which means three things, either you’re a zombie, your living but you somehow don’t have a heart, or you’re managed to control your pulse but somehow can’t control your breathing.” Roxas looked at the girl with amazement…how could she sense a heart’s pulse? The more time Roxas spend with this girl, the more she amazed him. The girl then continued to speak “And since I haven’t hit the cactus juice recently….or ever for that matter, I know it’s not the first two options, so you must have somehow learn how to control your heart pulse to make it nonexistent….well, whatever’s the case, I can tell your telling the truth by the way your breathing.” After the girl said that, she then did another martial art like move and the next thing that Roxas knew, he jutted out of the ground.
The girl then spoke “Sorry for attacking you earlier, it’s just that, when you’re a runaway Earthbending prodigy, you kind of have to kick butt and ask questions later.” Roxas chuckled. This girl had an interesting personality that is for sure. “It’s no problem...in fact, I’m sort of use to being attacked without much warning.” Roxas joked before offering his hand “Name’s Roxas”, he said, waiting for the girl to state her name. “Toph” the girl replied, not moving to shake his hand. Roxas, confused, then asked, “Uh…aren’t you going to shake my hand?” Toph, confused, said, “Wait…you had your hand out?” Roxas expression then changed to a mixture of shock and sadness “Oh….sorry, I didn’t know.” Roxas said, feeling guilty. Toph shrugged “Meh, its okay, there really wasn’t a way you could have known anyways…besides in some ways, I’m not really that blind.” She replied. Roxas was a bit confused by this. “Err…what do you mean?” Roxas asked. Toph hesitated for a bit before saying “Well…you know it’s kind of strange, I don’t really know you that well…but I get this good feeling from you Roxas…a feeling that I think you can be trusted….sure, I’ll tell you my secret.” Toph took a breath before continuing and told Roxas's of her history.
“Well…we better head back to the camp, I have been gone for a while, and Sugar Queen is probably worried sick about me.” Toph said, after telling Roxas of her history. Roxas widened his eyes “We? Sugar Queen? What’s she talking about?” Roxas thought. “I know it’s strange…but I want you to meet the other friends I’m traveling with; I think that Twinkle Toes, Sugar Queen and Captain Boomerang would like you.” Toph said, answering Roxas’s question. “Well…okay, but aren’t you being a bit too friendly? What if you were to let your guard down and if I was after you?” Roxas asked with a curious tone in his voice. To his surprise, Toph smirked and replied, “Well if you did try to attack me, I would just kick your butt again."
Roxas rolled his eyes but smiled, “True.” He admitted and with that, he and Toph set off towards her camp. As the two were walking, Roxas could not help but look at Toph’s petite feet. “Man, her feet are so pretty and amazing. The tops alone look awesome, I wonder what her soles look like and how her feet feel and taste” Roxas muttered under his breath as he continued to walk by Toph’s side, staring at her feet and oblivious to the fact that he was thinking out loud. Toph, thinks to an enhanced hearing sense due to being blind, was able to hear Roxas has thought and this had her curious. This actually was not the only time a boy was interested in her feet. In fact, when she was the Blind Bandit, some of her male fans would send letter, asking if they could touch her feet or even kiss them. Though she usually did not like having her feet touched, she was curious how it would feel if they were “worshiped” as Sokka called when he was explaining the concept to her. Toph’s mouth then took the form of a mischievous smirk
Toph then did a quick martial arts movement and once again, Roxas, taken completely by surprise. What are you doing Toph?” Roxas shouted before finding himself buried up to the neck in the Earth. “Oh come on, again?” Roxas lamented. “Don’t worry Roxas, I’m not going to hurt ya, I just want to test something” Toph said, with a playful tone in her voice. Toph then advanced towards Roxas and then sat down close to his head and it was at this moment that Roxas finally saw Toph’s soles.
Roxas guessed Toph’s soles would look beautiful and he was right. Though her soles were bit dirty, they also looked soft, save for a few rough spots here and there. Roxas suspected that there might also be a sole blush on her feet but it was hidden due to the dirt on her feet. Roxas thought arches were a perfect height as well.
“Alright Roxas, let the test begin” Toph said, still with that cocky smirk on her face as she….
