Kayla notices that theres an old man slowly following her down the street.

Against the shadows of the night she can't make out any of his features as he shuffles along, but along the wind she can hear a sort of raspy breathing that chills her. So she decides she will walk a little faster picking out a bright white house at the end of the block. She sees the porch light on and figures this will be a good place to trick-or-treat next while also losing the creep a few houses away.

But as Kayla picks up her pace she notices that the bum has also begun shuffling a little faster..."funny, he didn't seem to be moving that quickly..." Kayla mumbles to herself as she again begins to speed up. Even as she gets closer to the end of the block however she can hear the mans breathing getting closer and louder!

Kayla had always had a bit of a sheltered life from the world but she knew enough to be a little scared of the codger tracking her down. She broke into a run and as soon as she did she could hear the pattering of the old mans shoes as he began running as well. Now she was scared. She ran full boar until she got to the white house. She ran up the steps and knocked frantically at the door.

"Someone help, I' being chased!" And then...
