You never felt such a feeling, yet at the same time, you knew exactly what kind of feeling this was. If you didnt know any better, you'd say you were in the presence of angels. Actual real life angels! You dont even believe in that stuff, yet youre making such crazy theories?!
However, you werent exactly far from the truth. The apparition before you twinkled a heavenly bright blow as an angelic choir sang in the background! It was almost like staring into the sun! Fortunately, the bright glow faded, revealing a six winged blue haired woman with a light bluish skin tone to match her hair, a blue dress to match the other blue things, and wielding what looked to be a crystal spherical scepter.
By the time you got a good look at her, you found yourself being surrounded by heavenly armored silhouettes with wings like the woman. Each one pointing their own scepters at you. Each one had an aura similar to hers, but nowhere near as strong and godlike!
As you gazed in awe at the leading angel not covered in armor, something in your mind told you to bow to her. You didnt know why, but the part of you sounded very authoritative, so you bowed.
"S....Sariel..." you blurted out the name for some unexplainable reason. This woman was Sariel, the archangel of death. The fifth highest rank of the Highest ruling archangels serving under the third head of YaaHuuWeeHaaHaaWeeHuuYaa. How in the hell did you know all that?!
As you tried to contemplate how that was possible, 'Sariel' stepped toward you, giving you a cold, emotionless stare as the gaze in her shining blue eyes stared into the your soul.
ילד שלי, עמד she spoke in what sounded like an accent religious tongue (IT WAS HEBREW!), a language you never before heard in your life... and yet you understood exactly what she said! You translated as: /Arise, my child/
Sensing her authority, you stood up.
/Wh....what do you wa-WHA?!/ for some reason, that was not english coming out of your mouth! Not only could you understand the angel's tongue, you could speak it! /T...This is not english! How... am I talking like this?!/
The angel smiled and spoke in the tongue, /Every mortal being is knowledgeable of the Divine ones from birth itself... even though they do not realize it. That includes the accent language./ You dare not question it, for your mortal brain probably couldnt comprehend it!
/Fine!/ you played along with the tongue, /what do you want?/
/I have come to pass judgement./ she answered.
Pass judgeme.... angel of DEATH!!
/W-w-w-w-wait!/ you stuttered, /w-wh-why-/
/You have broken a very firm law./ she answered, /you have breached the barrier between worlds and placed the balance of reality in danger./ OH RIGHT! YOU HAD A FEELING YOU WERENT IN YOUR HOME WORLD ANYMORE. /Your existence in this world alone disrupts the balance. And murdering that oni only made the balance much worse./
Crap... no wonder the mafia wants you dead. You exist only to cause trouble!
/I'm sorry!/ you apologized, /I am very sorry. I never meant to cause any trouble. I only wanted to escape what my ex-employment wanted to do to me!/
Sadly, your pleas fell on deaf ears.
/Whether you meant it or not is of no concern to me/ she coldly responded, /due to your actions, I have orders to kill you immediately./
You gasped as the other angels got closer to you! Not even praying could get you out of this mess!
/However.../ then Sariel added a possible means of salvation! /there may be a means of repentance that you can contribute in exchange for the possibility of forgiveness for your sins./
A way to atone and take your name of God's hit-list?! How could you possibly refuse?!
Still, angel or not, you have to be cautious. /What is it?/ you ask.
/The Elders have watched you closely/ Sariel spoke, /they have seen your actions and are aware of your abilities. Despite your connections with bad people, you still possess the potential required for fulfilling this task we offer./ Theyre impressed by your efforts?! That's good, right?!
You remain silent as the angel of death continued /This task, if you choose to accept it, is a rescue operation in the Makai./
/Rescue? Makai?/ you heard yourself pronounce those words in a foreign dialect that sounded unreal to you!
/An inhabitant of this world has kidnapped one of ours. We do not know of her intentions for such kidnapping, but we fear the worst if our ally is not rescued. However, this inhabitant has rank in this world. If we were to intervene, this could mean war between her kind and ours./ Oh dear. If the angels try to rescue their own, they risk a war between the angels and demons? This could quite possibly mean Armageddon if theyre not careful!
/However, you, a lowly mortal can possibly intervene with minimal repercussions/ Sariel stated, /your former cartel employment finds you incredibly useful with recovering hostages, do they not?/
You smiled and scratched the back of your head, /Well... I... was able to get a few of my comrades' family members out of tight jams!/ You couldnt believe the language had a word for 'tight jams'!
Sariel nodded, /Then it shall be your mission to liberate our missing comrade from the jaws of the Makai!/
You got to thinking. She's asking you to dive deep into Demon Territory and rescue an angel! A little too hardcore for your taste, isnt it?!
She sensed your fears and assured, /Succeed and you have my guarantee that the order of your demise shall be lifted. Also, I will personally see to it that the organization you are fleeing no longer troubles you or your family anymore./ Wow... a clean slate with God AND the mafia?!
/You... you'll do that?! You'll get the mafia off my back for good?!/
/I am an angel of my word/ Sariel promises. The word of an angel... what else in this universe can be more trusting?!
Still... your on a suicide mission to enter Hell to save an inhabitant from Heaven! Are you truly the man for this job?
/What if I refuse?/ you muster the courage to ask.
Sariel stared deeply into you... you sensed absolute certainty as she answered, /I shall give you no more than 24 hours to flee me. Then it will be my personal duty to see that you die in the most excruciatingly painful way imaginable./ Your blood ran icy cold when those words traveled out of her mouth and into your ear to process /The punishment shall fit the crime./
Do you accept... or do you dare attempt to escape and cheat death?! Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
