but never the less he lay in wait. Night after night.
Then he had a dream one night, it started out
confusing. He woke up by the mound, he must have
fallen asleep by it. The wolf shook himself and turned to
find his mother but he wasn't in the forest any more. He
was in an empty plain of grass with a thick layer of fog as
far as the eye could see. And there she was his sister but,
full grown? She was the little sister he remembered but,
not little. All she said was, "Keep living your life, have
fun, don't dwell in the past, and live for the both of us or
my life will have gone to waste." then she padded up to
him and rubbed her muzzle to his back and licked him
between the ears "Goodbye, my dear brother" and with
that she began to fade. He woke up right by the mound
again. He was in his forest, he stretched and went to
find his mother with only one thing i mind:
