"Hey, let him go!"

Seemingly out of no where, the girl who Mark first met in the lab appeared. She was angry and looked ready to fight. The wild boy started to look back and forth rapidly, splitting his gaze between Mark and the woman. He then made a sudden leap at the woman, letting Alexandria and Mark free.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Mark fell to ground, hitting his head. It hurt, but he could hardly move to tend to his injuries. Feeling was returning to his body though, and his eye sight started to recover. He could hear the boy yell and scream, but could not pick up anything that sounded like fighting, only running. Through sheer force of will, Mark dragged one arm up, and used it to get his body off the ground. Looking up, he saw the boy chasing after the woman. She wasn't fighting him, instead running up and down the street and getting the boy to charge at her, dodging at the last minute to get him to run into walls in his insanity.

Mark sat resting for a moment. He knew he had to help, but he couldn't move too soon, he was still weak.
