Baren awoke in a state of shock. He looked around frantically to see where he was. Everything that had happened could not have been a dream because it looked like he was in a city alley way.

He quickly got up with his heart beating like a running cheetah and his adrenalin running like crazy.
"Shit, what did I get myself into..."

He saw many people walking on streets outside of the alley. None of them took notice of Baren being in the alley. They probably thought he was homeless. He looked at himself and grimaced.

"That bitch..." he muttered. His clothing were in bad shape but at least he wasn't naked or anything like that. Right beside his feet was a note. He picked it up with contempt and read it.

Hello Baren,
         It looks like I forgot to mention of where you would be starting. Oops! I'm sure you can manage yourself though. All you have to do is find the woman you want and tell her you want her to be your mother plus other details if you want. Simple as that!

Baren threw the paper to the ground angrily; he sighed. He looked at his arm that had recently felt like it was burning and noticed a weird heart-shaped symbol. It looked almost like a tattoo except it was a little crispy.

"Well...here I go," Baren thought.
