Made By M.E.
This is the story of a tiny boy named Roger. He was only 2 inches tall when he was born. At age two, his parents left him at a foster home, mostly because of his size. Roger is now 5 years old, and still wondering why his parents left him. He'd been a great kid, he was generous, he was popular. He gave away money to the poor, when he needed it the most. He was the perfect child. The only problem was that nobody wanted him. People thought of him as a mistake. Roger thought he was never getting out of the rathole he called home. But then that day that changed Roger's thoughts came...
Roger was simply playing with his commando action figure. He was trying to save the world from a cruel paper clip. Just as he was about to vaporize his enemy, the mother of the house, Ms. Fredrik, came in the room. "Roger! I have great news!" "Did you find a new paper clip? Because this one is getting broken." "No, Roger. I found you a new owner!" Roger just stared at the den mother, then ran into a sheet of paper. "What's the matter, Roger? Didn't you want out get out of here?" "I did. But what if that woman looks at me? When she see me, she'll probably leave. Just like my real parents." "Don't say that, Roger. I told this woman about your condition. She says that she doesn't mind it at all. She's just looking for a kid to have fun with." Roger turned back to Ms. Fredrik, seeing a smile upon her face. "Well, I'll give it a shot." "That's the spirit! Now hop on my hand so we can go meet this lucky lady." Roger hopped on. He was glad someone was here to claim him as a son.
They entered a small room, and roger saw her. She looked kind of glamorous, with a matching purses with her dress, and a great coating of lipstick, good enough for a son kissing. "Ms. Dredge? Here's Roger." Ms. Fredrik held out both her palms, revealing Roger to the delighted lady. "Hello, Ms. Dredge." "Oh, sweetie. You can call me Auntie Peg." She brought Roger up to her face, and gave him a big sloppy kiss. She placed Roger near her side, and got ready to sign the papers.
Roger gave Ms. Fredrik a great hug, as he was ready to hop on the car to Peg's house. "I'm going to miss you, Roger. I deeply am." "I'll miss you too, Ms. Fredrik." After this touching moment, Peg got Roger back, and placed him in the passenger seat. The car smelt kind of funny, but it smelt like home to Roger. She started the care, and headed back to her place.
When they got home, Peg showed Roger around, like where the bathroom was, and such. After an introduction of the house, they started playing some board games, like monopoly. The game took long enough for dinner to start. Peg set the table for dinner. They were having steamed ham. "So, Roger, how was your first day here?" "It was real fun, Auntie Peg. I really had some fun. I'm really going to enjoy being your son." She was starting to weep. "I think it's time for bed, sweetie." Roger jumped on Peg's hand going to his new room.
She helped him changed into his new pajamas, brush his teeth, and even decided to read him a bedtime story. "This is the story of Peter Pan. Have you heard of him?" Roger nodded. He's been told the Peter Pan story millions of time, but he decided not to tell. "Ok, here we go." The story just went as the other millions of time. Roger was falling asleep in a happy mood, knowing that he was part of a family now.
Roger was up from a nice nap, but he saw something odd. He found Peg sleeping by his bedside. "I think I'll let her sleep some more. I think I'll go make my breakfast." Roger carelessly jumped out of bed, not knowing what was below. He landed in a thud, seeing himself surrounded in dim light. He smelled his confinement, knowing it's scent of Auntie Peg. He must be in her shoe! He looked up and saw her toes hanging on the heel. "Aunt Peg! I'm stuck! Help me!" He found a rock and threw it at her toe. She instantly woke up. She looked at the bed, with a worried look. "Roger? Roger?? Roger! Where are you, sweetie! I'd better go find him!" She slipped back on her shoes, not a good thing for Roger. He tried to run, but he ended up under Peg's foot. "Help!" Peg was looking around the house. "Where could he be?! Is he stuck in the top cabinets?" She walked over and checked. She wasn't tall enough, so she stood on her toes. This was crushing poor little Roger badly. Roger's bones were cracking, and popping out of the skin. "No!" Peg stood on all ten on her toes, but couldn't find Roger. "He's not here.. but why are my toes feel wet? I'll check later. I got to find Roger!" What she didn't know was that she crushed Roger under her foot. Roger made it out of the foster home, but he didn't last at least a day.
