This is an interactive story containing 160 chapters. Each chapter tells part of the story and (usually) ends with multiple choices. Click on a choice and you'll be lead to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, you will have the option to write it! Don't be shy... make an addition!

Premise:

Stephanie decides she wants to throw a party and invite her friends, but she doesn't want her brother Jake to partake in any of it. To prevent him from getting involved at all, Stephanie secretly gives Jake a potion that causes him to shrink until he is only a quarter of an inch tall. The effects of the potion will wear off eventually, but until then, Stephanie thinks Jake won't be able to interfere with herself or her friends. To keep things under control, Stephanie told her mother Nicole that Jake would be out of the house partying with his own friends. However, Jake will not take kindly to being shrunk to such a tiny size, and so he will find a way to make himself known.

Characters:

The Family:

Jake: 19 Years Old, 5'7"
Jake is average in nearly every way. He is fairly smart and well-mannered, but he is of average height, average complexion, and average popularity. He has brown eyes and short, straight brown hair that he doesn't put too much effort into styling. Jake gets along well with most people, and he is fairly immune to peer-pressure, but he doesn't have an army of friends like his sister, and much to his annoyance, he doesn't have a girlfriend. He and his sister sometimes get along just fine, but that isn't exactly a common occurrence.

Stephanie: 18 Years Old, 5'5", C-Cup
Stephanie is Jake's younger sister. She is a complete and total ditz, but she is also very selfish. She has blue eyes, and her hair is curly and blonde, going down just past her shoulders. Her soft nose is wide and turned up at the tip, with medium-length thin nostrils. Although she is only concerned with her own happiness, Stephanie can get along with others well when their interested happen to coincide.

Nicole: 42 Years Old, 5'6", C-Cup
Nicole is Jake and Stephanie's mother. She and her daughter are almost identical in both appearance and personality. They both have the similar eyes, hair and noses, but Nicole is slightly taller and obviously has a more mature face and body. She is ditzy like her daughter, but she is also more polite and doesn't always put herself before others. She has agreed to help her daughter throw her party, but she is unaware of what has happened to Jake.

Jake and Stephanie's father is out of town on a business trip, and he won't be returning until the end of the week.


The Party Guests:

Liz: 18 Years Old, 5'5", C-Cup
Liz is timid, bespectacled friend of Stephanie's. She is shy and doesn't like to talk much, but she is very gentle and polite. She has brown eyes and wavy hair of the same color that falls to just below her neckline. Her nose is soft and upturned like Stephanie's but it also sticks out slightly at the tip and has long, thin nostrils. Liz has a variety of allergies, the most prominent being to pollen and dust. Also, she has a secret crush on Jake, but she is too shy to tell him directly.

Veronica: 18 Years Old, 5'7", D-Cup
Veronica is a tall, tomboyish girl Stephanie met during sports practice earlier in the school year. She is very stubborn and rarely changes her mind once she has decided on something. She has blue eyes and straight brown hair that she always keeps up in a long ponytail. Her nose is long, fleshy, covered with freckles, and has large nostrils. Veronica typically doesn't get along well with Jake, but she prefers to ignore him completely rather than go out of her way to bother him.

Brianna: 18 Years Old, 5'5", D-Cup
Brianna is a slim, athletic friend of Stephanie's. She is very friendly to everyone and enjoys helping others. She has short, dark brown hair and big, pretty eyes of the same color. Her nose is of average size, but it is very sensitive and prominent, with small nostrils that give it an extra fleshy tip. She is rather embarrassed by her prominent nose, so she tries to avoid calling attention to it.

Natalie: 18 Years Old, 5'6", C-Cup
Natalie is a perfect example of the generic drama queen. Everything she does revolves around the latest fashion trends. She has hazel eyes and wavy blonde hair that goes down to just below her shoulders. Her nose is long and fleshy, and it turns up sharply at the tip. Her nostrils are small and thin, and the right side has an expensive diamond stud. Natalie also appears to have a crush on Jake, but she behaves that way about every boy with a half decent appearance. She currently has a cold that she's trying to hide.

-Further size changes
-Drastically unrealistic torture
-Killing any of the characters

Other Rules:

Use Proper Spelling and Grammar!
There is no excuse for this. Nearly every web browser out there has a built-in spellchecker, so unless the word you're trying to type is incredibly obscure, there shouldn't be any little red lines under it.
In case you really don't understand this, it means don't use abbreviations like "ur" and "cya", and write complete sentences that actually make sense.

Write a decent amount for each chapter you post.
Keep your additions above a minimum of eight sentences. We feel that this is a reasonable length, but we do recommend more if possible. If your posts are too short, the next poster won't have much to work with.

Don't use excessive vulgarity.
The only people who actually curse like many people write are twelve-year-olds who haven't learned the basics of verbal decency yet. Some swearing is perfectly acceptable, but nobody actually uses an expletive every other word.

Write in the third person.
Jake is "Jake," not "you." Some people prefer to write interactive stories this way, but writing in the third person generally leads to better overall writing quality.

Do not change the characters.
The characters have already been defined above. If you absolutely must change one to make him or her more appealing to you, go to a different story.

Do not introduce any new characters.
We have come up with a wide range of characters for you to choose from. You shouldn't need to add any more.

New One additional character other than Jake may shrink.
This is an experimental rule, and as such it is highly subject to change. We have decided that if it can be done in a somewhat reasonable way, one of the girls at the party can be shrunk and become a sort of companion to Jake. However, this is limited to only one other character at a time. For example, if none of the chapters before the one you are continuing have shrunken any of the other characters, you may do so to ONE of them. For example, the existing arc in which Veronica has shrunk cannot have another of the girls shrink as well. Also, the shrinking can't simply come out of the blue. It has to be established in some way or another. Jake can't just run into a shrunken girl randomly.

^Any chapters that do not follow the above rules will be deleted.^

Notes:

Some chapters may be written from a girl's point of view.
If you feel it would serve the story, you may write a chapter from one of the girls' points of view. However, try not to have too many of these pile up in a row, or else the story might lose track of its original protagonist.

Jake is 1/4in tall, the end.
The potion Jake accidentally took shrinks him down to this height. No more, no less. The effects will wear off eventually, but until then his size will not change again. If he is forced to drink more of the potion, it will make the effects last longer, but it will not make him shrink to a smaller size.

Only Stephanie is aware of Jake's situation at first.
She was the one who gave him the potion, after all. Jake's mother Nicole was told that he would be out of the house, so she doesn't suspect anything when he is nowhere to be found. Stephanie's friends never knew he was home to begin with. That being said, the other characters can become aware of Jake's situation over time.

Jake doesn't necessarily have to be inside a girl's ear for her to understand him.
Anyone who is in the same room as Jake will be able to notice the sound of his voice. They won't always know what it is, but they will hear it. If he is reasonably close to a girl's head, she will be able to understand what he is saying.

Lastly: This interactive story is intended for members with a nose fetish specifically. Other subjects are still allowed in order to give the narrative more variety, but this story still has its primary focus. If you don't have a nose fetish, you probably won't enjoy this. In short, don't deviate too far from the original intent. If you don't have a nose fetish but would still like to post a reasonable chapter about one of the other allowed subjects, feel free to do so.
