Once you get to Catherine's house, you see her and Brooke slightly surprised to see you. "I thought once you accept going to that academy, you either come out a girl or roughneck. You're neither" your aunt said.

You chuckle slightly. "I thought that too. Moriarty thought all of us needed a break after the battle of Witchbloom."

"Battle of Witchbloom?! What have you got yourself into?" Catherine asked.

"We just needed to retrieve an item without getting enrolled. We lost two, but not to the school, not that I know of. Long story... it was a trap and Mel was waiting for me. She's good, but not enough. Anyway, what's this about Tim?"

"Every since you left, he been quiet, withdrawn, and almost opposite to his normal self. Brooke was happy at first, but she is now concerned about this sudden behavioral change."

'Let me see him" you said. you walk up to his room, and knock on the door. As he opened it, he turned white.

"J J J -John" he stammers. You let yourself in, and close the door, leading him to his bed, but to your surprise, he starts patting down your body. You turn to him and realize that he is checking to see if you're still a guy.

"Calm down Tim. I'm still a guy. Want to tell me whats up?"

"I I.. thought you had been sent away to become one of them...." he stammered after waiting five minutes.

"i see. You saw Bethany and Mel go, and seeing me disappear around the same time.... And you thought you might be next. Tim, I'm not out to become as you put it, 'one of them'. i'm actually getting training to deal with being a brother to witches. Unfortunately it is high risk."

"promise me you won't become a stupid icky girl?" Tim said. you smile despite yourself and the nature of his request. Tim is back. "Promise me John. They'll turn me for sure if you go all girly."

You wince. You know you can't give that promise. "Tim, i've got to go. i need to see megan..."

He looks at you and frowns. "Ewww. You're going to get cooties."

"you know, you can only get 'cooties' by kissing a girl" you said, getting up.

"i know" Tim said disgustedly.
