"Hiding from the cootie gang" he smirked. You just shook your head, having heard it all before. He looked at you closely. "Heard that you was sent from that mushbrain school...."
"I wouldn't go telling a student that..." you said, stiffling a laugh from your imagined response of a student. He smirked and spotted the pendant. "Nice piece of junk. What does it do? Even though you're practically one of the cootie gang, even you wouldn't wear it. Unless it protects you from magic!" Before you can stop him, Tim seizes the pendant, puts it around his neck, and runs off. You're slightly surprised, thinking it would instantly turn Tim girly, unaware it is doing it slowly. you run down and bump into Hayley.
"John. We need to talk about something... The pendant you got...."
"Tim was in my room and took it. It's around his neck!" you said. "He thinks it will protect him from magic."
