How about wolf?

seeing a a wolf CAN be gentle, loving, utterly loyal to its friends, and mostly fearless but crushing and relentless towards those who endangered the ones whom it cherished, and is also very easily bored as was obvious with how often one could fell asleep, and even be fairly brash at times....yeah...can you say ironic personality?
