It screamed, but at the same time unleashed the biggest horde of shadow arms yet. Danny sliced through an uncountable number of them with his silver staff, but there were far too many to defend against in this way, and hundreds of arms surrounded Danny and began to wrap around him. But, they were not able to grab him. Danny noticed a sphere of light forming around him as the arms came closer. The arms pounded on the sphere, but that would only cause it to become brighter and stronger.
"My armor?"
Danny looked down, his armor glowed with the same light as the shield, it had to be projecting it all around him. When he realized this, something also told him that it could not last. He looked back up, his eyes frantically jumping from arm to arm, searching. After only a few seconds, the shield began to crack like glass. Each time it was weakened, a terrible sound like collapsing, twisting metal could be heard, it was as if a bridge was being crushed by a giant pair of hands.
"I'll get you first!"
Danny started to run forward through the flailing arms, and when he saw his adversary, he unleashed a swift sweeping strike with his staff. The far end crashed into the demon's skull and sent it flying. Now was the time to deliver the final blow. Danny built up speed with a short dash, and then leaped forward into the air, pointing the staff right at the girl's heart. Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
