This is an interactive story containing 3 chapters. Each chapter tells part of the story and (usually) ends with multiple choices. Click on a choice and you'll be lead to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, you will have the option to write it! Don't be shy... make an addition!

Overview of the series' being used...
- In lamest terms, both Higurashi and Umineko, being created by the same guy, are somewhat the same in terms of atmosphere. The main differences in the two being Higurashi takes place a little earlier than Umineko does (both are set in the 1980s). Higurashi is set in a rural village of Hinamizawa, to which is surrounded by gruesome murder mysteries surrounded by the deity known as Oyashiro. Umineko focuses on the wealthy Ushiromiya family who gathers on the island of Rokkenjima for a meeting to decide the next head of the family. Unlike Higurashi, Umineko is more centered around witches, magic and the occult in general.

Both of these are fairly popular and have their own fan community. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much fetishy stuff involving the two, so I decided to change that by my own hand and hopefully rake in some likeminded folks who want to write some WG about them.

I'm not going to list the characters that are present in both Higurashi and Umineko so, I'll simply link the list of them instead for easy access to writers who are willing to learn about them.

What to expect
-The one defining trait between both Umineko and Higurashi is that, at some point or another, when an arc ends, it restarts everything from the beginning upon reaching the new arc. Basically, characters who have died, events that took place, and things destroyed in the previous story arc, are returned to normal and the entire plot is rebooted as if nothing bad has ever happened. However, when this happens, there is always one huge aspect that is different about the new story arc that sets it apart from the previous one; usually adding new characters, a new plot point, etc. All the while, the big picture is slowly being revealed with each "restart" there seems to be so in away, while character deaths and the like are (technically) retconned, it still manages to hold some continuity in the series.

Higurashi is a little wierd in this aspect being that it does have it's "restarts" in and around the beginning but, nearing it's end it's revealed that each "restart" is due to Rika Furude and Hanyuu going to different "versions" of Hinamizawa called worlds in hopes of escaping the horrific murders surrounding Oyashiro's Curse. Umineko isn't really the same in this factor, but each "restart" is seen as a new game on the 'Game Board' to which a 'Game Master' orchestrates and plays things out. The characters caught in the middle of all this are referred to as 'pieces' (think like chess). It's usually the witches who tend to be the Game Masters using the Ushiromiya family as their pawns, but over the course of the series other characters have had their chance to run things; Erika and Battler, respectively. This being said, It would be rather funny if someone twisted this around to apply to tabletop RPG knowledge, though.

What I'm basically getting at here is that, this interactive doesn't have to follow any of the storylines of the series themselves. I'll be posting different routes like I did in my Touhou interactive, so each route is essentially a completely new storyline equivalent to if the series itself had went through one of it's "resets", so you have the freedom to add characters, and places, as you see fit to the story you're writing out.

-Character death is fairly common in both Higurashi and Umineko, in fact, it would be dumb of me to say that there wasn't a time where all the characters died off (in Higurashi this actually happened, save for only one of the main cast surviving). However, you don't really have to follow this trope. If you want a fairly light hearted story where, say...Rena wants to pursue the path of being fat, then hey, more power to ya! There are actually points in the original series where it didn't involve people dying left and right.

-Please be sure to put forth some effort in your chapters, try to avoid anything outlandish...like "lol she gained 9000 lbs in one day!!" Seriously, I can understand if the creative juices aren't flowing but, deliberately not putting forth any effort is kind of annoying. Entries don't have to be epoch sized lengths either...just so long as you tried.

-This interactive is going to dip into some things that aren't really meant for kids. Whether it be violence, blood, gore and sex, it's all going to be present here. Granted, it doesn't have to follow this but, it would be rude of me to not warn anyone that this interactive may contain content they don't like or find offensive. Also keep in mind that only the female characters are going do the expanding here in this interactive.
