Miranda put her head back against the wall and rolled her eyes up at the ceiling for a few moments, spacing out, and ignoring the look that her brother was giving her from across the way. It took all of his energy for Stephen not to yell at her, shake her, or just nudge her feet off his clean sheets, and he merely settled for sitting there and watching her with dark amusement. "So...you going to tell me about it or do I have to play 20 questions?"

"It's about her..." she began, nudging her head towards the doorway and a phantom person supposedly known to all in the household as "her". When he looked blankly at her, she growled a little and reached down to flick him on the head. "Amanda, you numbnut..."
