Rather then being blown to micro-bites, Gem had decided to jump out of the club where her father Zuse was about to be killed by the explosion set off by Clue. He was too stunned and there was not enough time to save him too. One of the windows had been broken during the fight and she jumped out of it, taking a blind leap of faith. The faith was rewarded when she landed in the arms of Sam Flynn whose arms she hoped to land in and just by some intuition knew she would. "My hero!" she replied in her usual soft and sexy tone as she wrapped her arms around his neck. It also didn't escape her notice the jealous look on Quorra's face which she also relished.

Sam put her down and despite what she and her father had done to them, both Sam and his father Kevin as well as Qurroa agreed to let them join her in their escape to the real world. They weren't villains like Gem and her father had been and hoped that they could turn her to the good side. Or at least Sam's father did. Both Sam and Quorra wanted revenge against her. With Sam's father sacrificing himself to kill Clue, Sam and the girls were able to escape to the real world.

No sooner had they escaped to the real word, did Gem and Quorra get to fighting over Sam, particuarly who was going to ride with him on his motorcycle first. Sam had just finished talking with Alan Bradley who had been like his mentor since when he orginally thought he had lost his father. Upon seeing the two girls, Alan just shook his head at Sam just like his father would have before continuing on his way.

"I saved him so he should give me the first ride" Quorra said. "He saw me first so I should get the first ride" Gem said back.

Sam was not going to lie, he was attracted to both girls but at this point he was definitely not getting with Gem after what she had done. He wanted to come up with a good revenge plan to get back at her. It was as he glanced around the street to figure out a way to get the girls to stop fighting when he spied a McDonalds across the street. He had found the perfect revenge against Gem. He woudl fatten her up, destroying her body. He had no doubt Quorra would like this as well.
