Even if you did try to escape, it would be hard to get to your old home without being caught. I mean how can an escaped monkey go un notice. So you give up and live the rest of your life as a monkey. It actually isnt that bad, you get fed a few times a day and eventually you meet a mate and have a baby monkey. But its nothing compared to being a human
