You look up at the sun, which relentlessly beats down on your unprotected skin. There's very little shade on this little rowing boat. You've heard rumours of a legendary Pokemon called Lugia around these seas, and in your rush to see (and hopefully capture) one, you failed to make any preparations. You've only got what you are carrying and this little boat that you managed to barter off an old fisherman.
You've been out here for hours, and you've since lost sight of land. Slightly worried, since you didn't bring any equipment for directing yourself.
Looking up at the sun again, you suddenly get an idea. There is some stuff in your bag that might help you plot some sort of course using the sun!
You get up from the rowing bench and make your way across the boat, but theres a reason the old fisherman wanted rid of this boat...
As you place your weight down on the bottom of the boat, the rotting wood splinters and your foot goes right through. You fall over as the water flows in. Starting to panic now, you try to get up, but the increased pressure on the damaged hull causes a crack, and with a cry of fear you fall through the middle of the boat, which promptly separates into two pieces, and sinks.
You worriedly tread water, completely at a loss as to what to do. You didn't tell anyone which way you were going, and you have no way to contact land. In all likelihood, you're probably going to drown.
Oddly calm after accepting your fate, you continue to tread water, when suddenly the previously calm sea starts to become more rough. You feel a massive change in pressure deep below your legs, and the sea erupts infront of you.
Thrown backwards by the motion, you wipe your eyes of the salt water and gasp. Staring down at you is a Lugia. The experts say that this Pokemon is supposed to be genderless, but something about this specimen makes you think otherwise. How many of those so-called experts have studied a Lugia closely, anyway?
You feel a presence in your mind, and a deep, male voice says to you...
