Meet Randy Garcia. At 13, he was a happy, outgoing teenage boy, looking forward to his fourteenth birthday, when his mother pulled him aside on the evening before and told him about a strange family curse that was placed on the family a century ago. Randy's father and grandfather had experienced this strange thing for a period of three years, until they turned seventeen, and now it was Randy's turn.

This weird curse was placed on Randy's great-grandfather and every male in his family would experience this weird thing where the boy in the family would shrink and grow randomly and in random increments every single day for just a few hours. This would happen between their 14th and their 17th birthday. Every day, at any time at all, the boy would shrink from his original height by a random amount of inches, anywhere between 3 inches and 5 feet. So, Randy, who is 5 foot 6 inches tall, could become anywhere between 5 feet and 6 inches tall. Then, he would remain at this height for a few minutes until he would grow back to 5 foot 6 inches tall again. This would happen at least once every 24 hours, but could happen more often.

Randy's shrinkage could be triggered by something common like sneezing or the hiccups or by coughing. The same for growing back.

Remember, every time Randy shrinks, he has to grow back in the next chapter, so he can shrink again in the chapter after that! I want to see him shrink and grow a LOT.
