Naruto's jaw dropped. Could this be happening?!?!? Most people thought that Naruto's infatuation with Sakura had been tempered over the years. However, in all their time together, Sakura had gleaned that really, nothing had changed. Naruto had, unbelievably, actually realized that how he was acting wasn't working. He still occasionally made a miserable attempt to ask her out. Sakura still didn't feel that way about him, but when did something like that ever stop him?

Still, here Sakura was, basically asking HIM to a date.

"A-are you serious? He stammered. Sakura got up, brushed herself off, and walked away a few steps. "Yeah, I am. Of course, if you're no longer interested that's..."

"I'M INTERESTED! DEFINITELY!" He yelled, sounding like his childish self.

Sakura turned and chuckled, it was hard to not enjoy tugging at someone's strings like that.

"Oh good. But before we can date, there's just one thing..."
