Sakura held out three fingers. Naruto looked at them and blinked, not understanding. "Three months, Naruto."
He tilted his head. "Huh?"

Sakura leaned in and shouted with resolve: "THREE MONTHS! For three entire months, you must obey any and all orders your female superiors give you! If you can do that, then I'll be your girlfriend!"

Naruto's eyes widened. Three entire months?!?!? Sakura sat down on a stump and crossed her legs, sighing. "Yes Naruto, the horror of actually having to do what you're supposed to be doing anyway." Naruto was still hesitating, looking into the sky. She did have a point.

"And don't think this is just direct orders, either. If any of them ask you to do something, you do it. It doesn't have to be a strict command. Think of it as recompense for ignoring them before. Anyway, I know what you must be thinking, and don't worry. I won't be telling anybody about this, so nobody will be able to take advantage of it. This is just to see if you're capable of seeing women as superiors at all. Understand?"

Naruto nodded. This really wasn't so bad at all. He had always wanted to date Sakura, and here was a clear shot. When he thought it through, the only thing that would really happen in Sakura's test is that he'd have to take the boring missions that he always shirked, and be a little more respectful.

He pumped his fist. "Alright Sakura, you've got a deal! I promise, this'll be no problem at all!"
Sakura smiled. "Good."

It was getting late, so the two said goodbye and parted ways, Naruto telling her to count the days until their first date. Once he was out of sight, Sakura jumped up and laughed. He had taken the bait!
