This is an interactive story containing 7 chapters. Each chapter tells part of the story and (usually) ends with multiple choices. Click on a choice and you'll be lead to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, you will have the option to write it! Don't be shy... make an addition!

Once upon a time there was a great evil in the world. This evil seemed unstoppable on it's quest to enslave the world. That is until a great wizard sacrificed himself to rid the world of this evil. Or so people thought.

The evil was banished from this world but was not destroyed. Instead it fled to the dream world greatly weakened at the last moment. There it bided it's time gathering it's strength until the day it could attempt to reenter the waking world once more.

Now is that day but the evil needs help. It needs the souls of thirteen people to help it escape back to the waking world. In order to do this it trapped thirteen people in the dream world and plans on tricking them into helping it.

There is one other problem. The evil only has three days to get all thirteen people to help it. If it gets all thirteen then it will be unleashed on the waking world and the thirteen will be trapped in the dream world forever. If it fails to get even one of the thirteen to help it then it's trapped in the dream world forever. If it does get at least one to help it then it will be able to try again in three years if it doesn't get all thirteen. Regardless of whether or not it succeeds in escaping the people who help it are trapped in the dream world forever.

This is the story of those thirteen people.

Ok since this takes place in the dream world pretty much anything goes. I do have some rules though.

1) No sex with anyone under thirteen.
2) Since this is the dream world the evil and other characters can not die.
3) Write in the third-person limited. This means the author is writing from the viewpoint of a single character though using the third-person.
4) No one line chapters unless it's to provide more choices. If that is the case please add a full chapter after. Full chapters are at least two paragraphs long.
5) Try to use correct spelling and grammar unless one of the characters actually speaks like that.
6) Make sure your addition follows the plot of the chapters before. The plot can be changed but there must be a reason why it changes and it shouldn't change abruptly. For example if the previous chapters have a character dead set on not helping the evil then your addition should not just jump into the character helping it with no explanation at all.
7) Always leave at least two choices for the character unless it is the end of the story.
8) The choices at the end are choices the main character (the character who we're following) can make. Not any of the other character's choices.
9) Do not end the story until there have been at least twelve full chapters written in that branch once the main character is chosen.

I reserve the right to modify or delete any chapter that does not conform to the above rules.

The thirteen people may have dream bodies that are different than their waking bodies. They won't know that The Evil is evil or that is what it's called. They may however get a feeling that something is a little off but may ignore that feeling and help The Evil.

For now I'll only have a couple characters that are named and described leaving the other twelve open. If you create one of the characters send me a description of the person both in the waking world and the dream world. I will then add it to the appropriate chapter and place.
