Ivy basked by her large window, giving her a wonderful view of the garden she has planted all around her current hideout. Now normally such a large garden would attract Batman's attention, but this garden knew how to disguise itself. It was one of the latest breakthroughs Ivy had made and it made her giddy to see her babies able to learn how to survive in the urban blight that was Gotham City.

But Ivy didn't have a plan for how to completely demolish Gotham or, to be honest, any plan.

She had started soaking up more sun and indulging herself with money from the last big job she had done with Harley's help.

Harely had stayed with her for two weeks after the job was done but then The Joker came calling and she went running, leaving Ivy alone with her plants.

The thought of Harley being abused yet again by that clown made Ivy take a huge spoonful of ice cream and cram it in her mouth as she soaked up the sun.

No, no need to feel sad about Harley anymore, Ivy thought to herself. Harley had chosen where her loyalties were and Ivy should respect them.

Still, there were times like the present moment when thoughts of Harley ran through her head. Like how she had watered her plants and ensured that the hyenas she often brought with her did nothing to harm her babies. Or when Harley would cuddle up to her in their shared bed, mumbling about some crazy dream she was having.

Ivy stopped herself from thinking about Harley by the time she had finished the tub of ice cream.

She needed to see someone other than Harley.

But who could she call?
