This is an interactive story containing 167 chapters. Each chapter tells part of the story and (usually) ends with multiple choices. The setting of the story is northern England, north of the Midlands, a town of not much importance. On January 18th 2012, a young man named Steven (age 32) buys a gift for his friend Liz for her 30th birthday. However, neither Steven or Liz have any idea just what path this otherwise ordinary purchase will send them down. Into the unknown....

Main protagonists:

Steven, a 32-year old individual, quite slender in appearance, really short brown hair, he is almost 6 ft tall, wears glasses. He is normally someone who likes to be on his own, rather than around others. He has never been in a relationship of any kind, mainly due to his complete lack of self-confidence because of the way he looks. Steven harbors (maybe not so secret) feelings for his friend and co-worker Liz. Steven works part time as a retail store assistant in a hardware store.

Liz, 30 years old, and the recipient of the strange gift purchased by Steven for her birthday. Quite petite, standing almost 5' 4" tall, she has long, dark blonde hair (mostly worn in a ponytail), most men would deem her 'average looking', though she does have her 'perks', namely her 30H breasts (30G U.S). Liz is married to Eric, to a man 15 years her senior, a fact that is not lost on Steven. Liz is Steven's supervisor at the hardware store they are both employed at.

Carly, 29 years old, a petite, 5' 2" tall 'bubbly' girl with short, stylish blonde hair and C-Cup breasts, she's a self employed beautician and one of Liz's friends. In contrast to Liz, Carly dresses very 'girly', always seen in a dress, or a skirt/top combo and a pair of heels.
