Characters

Roman Sabinus - Vampire. Soldier. Son to Gaius Sabinus. Quiet and subdued, tends to avoid confrontation with the Undertakers. The Sabinus house is powerful and growing in that power. Led by Gaius, Roman is the House's enforcer. He is heir to the empire and often visits the city's blood bank instead of hunting to find his fill of blood, where he regularly takes his share from Samantha Moss.

Samantha "Sam" Moss - Undertaker. Rookie. Sister to Bobby Moss. She is loud and outspoken, often finding her mouth getting her into trouble. Her vice is the vampire bite, an addiction many Undertakers find themselves having after being the victim of a vampire attack. Though yet a rookie in the Undertakers organization, she has caught the eye of their Chief of Enforcers, Nolan Byrd.

Caleb Rourke - Undertaker. Pencil-pusher. Some would call Caleb uncorruptable. His refusal to receive bribes or overlook corruption has gotten him to a dead end in the Undertakers. He is strong willed, witty and still hopeful about the state of the world. He is on the look out for ways to expose corruption deep within the ranks of the Undertakers and in doing so, has gathered many allies and enemies in both the human and vampire population.

Giselle Moreau - Vampire. Knight. Beautiful and ageless, Giselle is the right hand woman to Gaius Sabinus. She is calm and collected, but undermining and conniving. She despises mortality and finds humans to be play things rather than people. She was once the lover of Roman Sabinus, but they have since had a falling out. Sired by Gaius, she is often the brunt of Roman's jealousy, vying for Gaius's attention.
