About This Interactive |
The owner of this Interactive Story begins with this information and guidance:
It was a beautiful day. Draco woke from his bed in the small town of Minton, happy and refreshed. He was looking forward to another great day at Lamplight Labs, a scientific and creative research facility located in the nearby major city of Triepeaks. As Draco climbed out of his bed and made his way across the room to his wardrobe, he thought about the various species and entities he had hired and employed his laboratories. From pok'emon, to digimon, human to dragon, wolf to hyena, bats to foxes. Some were more productive then others and made him proud. while the others he often suspected were only at the labs to steal chemicals or spy on his research.
Not that bothered him too much, unless he caught them in the act. Otherwise he was a very out going dragon. With his outfit for the day picked out, Draco headed for the shower and rinsed off the stink of last night's sleep and any excess grime he might have picked up the day before. the water pouring off his scales was very refreshing and put him in a even better mood.
After the shower came of course, his clothes. He quickly pulled up his briefs, dawned his usual navy turtle-neck shirt, and raked any lose scales off his body. Then, before leaving the bathroom, he gave his head a quick shave, and headed down stairs to breakfast. His meal that morning consisted of fresh home made waffles and a cup of milk. Nothing better to start the day, unless of course you add a bit of fruit, which he did. The green dragon enjoyed every bite of his meal, savoring the last slice of the golden breakfast pastry, daubed with maple syrup. A few minutes and a good teeth brushing later, Draco only needed to grab his lab coat, briefcase and i.d. badge before he could leave his lovely blue home. He lived on a quiet street, free of too much excitement, save the occasional macro attack.
A quick trip to the garage brought him to his car, his trusty old blue refurnished late 1950's classic. It was his favorite car, however also his most expensive. These days he got around like almost everyone else. Suv. His was a shade of light brown that almost made the car look like someone had plated it in bronze. Draco unlocked it with his key and climbed inside. The car still had that new smell to it, although there was also the smell of something else there too, but the dragon rather not think about it. that night was a bit too crazy for him to remember properly anyway.
Draco left his drive way, then his street. The commute east from Minton to the city on rout 95 was the same as always, a bit busy a bit crowded, but not too slow. It was during these stretches of his travel from his home to the building in which the labs were housed, that Draco often wondered what would happen today.
Some time later, Draco reached the city, and all too soon was in the parking lot of his beloved Laboratories. There it was, before him, White with blue tinted windows. Over 120 rooms above ground and far more below, all sorts of tests, experiments and devices were being run inside of its walls. Its full above ground height was of now four point five stories, with the fifth story being unfinished. The reason for that was that the constructions company that Draco had hired to renovate the place, had gone bankrupt before the job was done.
With a deep breath, Draco grabbed his things, Exited the car and locked it. He headed to the sidewalk leading from the brown security wall surrounding the front of the building and its courtyard. He walked with purpose up to one of the two sets of glass double doors leading inside. IT was time to get to work.
