The following is a set of 16 alternate endings for the Mass Effect series. Many players were dissatisfied with what was actually offered, and this is an attempt to explore how endings could be presented in a way that incorporates player choice. This is not intended as a replacement for the finale of BioWare's otherwise excellent series; clearly, if I could make an adequate set of endings on my own, they could do something far better.
You will be asked a series of four questions regarding the decisions you made in the series. This will lead to an ending that hopefully reflects your choices in an interesting way. There are several differences with the current finale: 1) the mass relays are not destroyed, 2) the Citadel is possible to save, and 3) Shepard doesn't necessarily die. Though this is speculation, I tried to stay as true to the established lore as possible. |
