I just can't right now."
"Is it a problem with a kid at school?"
A sly grin formed on the 17 year old's face "You could say that."
"Well, just tell me whenever you're ready," her mom responded. They approached their house within the next few minutes or so and the car stopped in front while Natasha got out.
"I guess you have the house to yourself for a while," Natasha's mom said. "Just don't get into any trouble while I'm gone."
"I won't," Natasha responded as she started walking towards the house. Her mom drove off, going back to work.
Natasha went upstairs to her room and took Tina out, placing her on her bed. "You okay?" she asked the three inch tall girl.
"I'm fine," Tina responded, looking around at her new home. The place was decorated like any other 17 year old girl's room would be. The walls were still painted pink, from when she was a little girl. There were posters of her favorite bands, including Coldplay and Panic at the Disco. And in one corner of the room, next to the girl's computer desk, sat a microscope with various beakers and science books nearby.
"That's one of the reasons why I decided to buy you, other than for your personal safety," Natasha began. "I'm kind of a science geek and I thought I might be able to help you. I'm really into microbiology and what makes up a person's body." She paused for a moment. "And, because of that, because I spend all of my time studying or reading books, I don't really have many friends. That's another reason I wanted you."
"So you're lonely?" Tina asked. Natasha just nodded her head, wiping a small tear from her eye. "I'm sorry to hear that."
"I mean, I have a few friends," Natasha continued. "Your sister, maybe. And a couple of other people. But not too many. My list of friends is actually less than ten." She knelt down next to Tina, her head resting on her crossed arms.
"But enough about me," Natasha said, trying to change the subject. "What about you?"
"Well, I'm like most teenage girls," Tina said. "I'm into boys and pop music. I've been studying for my SATs for the past few weeks, which I realize now was a complete waste of time, since I'm only 3 inches tall now." She laughed a little at her current situation.
Natasha grinned back. "You want to do something fun?"
"Well, actually," Natasha," Tina responded. "I was thinking we could..." Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
