"So what am I doing here?" you ask the group of fat men after Mike explains what the group did for him at college which explains his rapid weight gain.
"I need a little buddy to talk to about this stuff," Mike explains," It's not a group for everyday people, as you can tell."
"But why me? Why not Matt?" you ask recalling one of Mike's slimmer friends from high school.
"It's because you're a fat guy admirer," Mike states.
"Am not," you brush off.
"Are so," Mike says," You can't keep an eye off any guy with a gut. Almost all your friends are fat, you stare at my gut or Dad's gut whenever you can. Admit it, you just like looking at fat guys."
"He probably hasn't noticed that one of the cakes have fallen over since you've got here," comments the biggest guy at the table looking over at a black forest cake which was built too tall and has fallen over into a bowl of mashed potatoes.
"See," Mike states.
"So?" you ask defensively.
'So, you're going to be one of our recruiters," says the biggest guy resting his hands on his gut," After a few lessons you'll know what to look for in new members and you'll bring them here for initiation."
"What if I don't want to join your little group?" you ask and realize that there's nothing little about the obese members.
"That's up to you, for now you can just join us for a meal," offers the oversized Italian at the head of the table," I don't know about you guys, but I'm starving."
There's a reassuring murmur from the other fat guests and they begin to dig in. Mike leads you over to an open spot at the table. You see that Mike sits next to the Italian on a metal chair which looks like it was specially made to fit the massively obese. It looks like Mike can barely fill it despite his bulk. You sit down in a normal sized chair next to Mike on your right and the other slimmest guy from the group. The guy is only a few years older then you, but is double your weight, if not more. He's bigger than your Dad. His soft belly spills on to his thick thighs. His love handles spill outward and gives his arms something to rest on.
You fill your plate sparingly compared to Mike and the other guys at the table. While you eat you watch the guys scarf down the food at an amazing pace. Some guys gobble down 2 or even 3 plates full before you’re even done half your plateful.
What happens during the meal?
