"Hey, come and check this out!" Scott says from behind a shelf. You walk around it to see him holding up a blue jeweled necklace. "This thing looks like it's right out of the 60's. Cool, huh?" He says.
You look it over, and it's mildly impressive, though you wonder why it would be in a Notz and Yeps store. Scott lifts it over his head and tries it on. As he wears it, you notice a change in his body. His shirt lifts a little at the chest and his upper arms swell a bit. He pulls it off without even noticing. As he places it back on the shelf. You pick it up and try it on as well to see what it will do, your stomach bulges a bit and you pull the necklace off.
"You really should think of buying that now." A voice says from behind you. You turn to see who you thought was Swizzle. "You look confused, boy." He says "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Fizzle, the curator of this little shop, and what you just tried on was the chain of change."
You look back at the chain on the table. "No thanks, I'm not interested." You say. You notice Scott is leaving, and you wave goodbye to the Swizzle look-a-like.
Scott is over in a bodybuilding store across the plaza. As you walk in he is standing on a scale "This thing is broken..." He says somewhat amused. "It says I'm 170.". He steps off and motions you to get on, as it did with him it flashed 170.
"Yeah, I guess it is." You say.
"Want to head over to the arcade?" Scott asks.
"Sure, might as well."
As the two of you walk the length of the mall, you feel a little warm, and you need to adjust your shirt. Scott seemed a little antsy as well. You look at him, thinking he looked a little bigger again, maybe his shirt was looking smaller or something. You enter the arcade and walk over to Soul Calibur, both of you insert your coins and begin to play.
Time passes as you and Scott duke it out, and he keeps nudging you away from the control stick. You look at him and say "Hey, stop pushing m-...."
You're cut short by what you see. Scott's shoulders are large and round, and firm muscular pecs are forcing their way out in front of him. His arms are beefy, with good sized biceps. His shirt has lifted up from his waist to show cut abs. He looks like he's around 210 pounds! You suddenly become aware of how tight your clothes have become, and of the cold feeling of the arcade machine touching your stomach. You look down to see that your body has become pudgy all over.
"Haha! I win!" Scott says as he turns to you. "What happened to you?!" He asks.
"I don't know! What about you!?" You respond. Scott looks down at his now amateur bodybuilder frame. Suddenly you both feel warm again, and you start to expand once more. Scott's shirt grows tighter again lifting higher from his waist. Your own shirt pulls up higher once again.
Without thinking you both set off running across the mall, though it's a little easier for now athletically built Scott. Your stomach bounces and sways as you chase after him, and you can feel it expand once more. He runs back into the bodybuilding store and reads the scale... 230 pounds. You step on next... 230 as well. It must have been the necklace from Notz and Yeps! Without a thought you both start running again over to the store. Another bit of swelling hits you, pushing you up to 240 each. Scott's shirt is ripping at the chest, and yours has hiked up all the way to your soft breasts. Your pants have lost a button and are getting progressively tighter, his are nearly busting from the size of his quads within them. Inside Notz and Yeps you search endlessly for the necklace, but it is nowhere to be found.
Fizzle approaches you from behind. "I knew you'd come back. Inquiring about the necklace, are you?" he says. You look back at him as your stomach swells once again to 250 pounds.
"Yes, what did it do to us?" you ask frantically.
"It changes the person's body to what it wills. Some people it ages, some it makes younger. Others get taller others become short. You happen to be getting fatter, and your friend is becoming more muscular. It puts a curse on the person who dons it to continue to change at certain intervals.". Fizzle shrugs at you "I told you that you should have bought it, it comes with a box that can stop the change or control it... but I've sold it." He says. "A buyer paid double the cost for it, and then he left."
You look at Scott with a look of fear on your face before your stomach heaves out once again. Scott's pants rip at the seams as you both hit 260. "He won't keep it for long, I'd imagine, but my friend Swizzle keeps them stocked for me anyway. Give me your address and I will bring it to you personally when it comes in later tonight."
Seeing no other option, you give Fizzle your address and leave the mall. You need to get home before you both rip out of your clothes.
You walk back to your hotel, and the effect of the necklace seems to fade a little as you distance yourselves from the mall. By the time you reach the hotel you are a morbidly obese 280 pounds, and Scott is a 280 pound muscle monster. You attempt to enter the hotel as discretely as a pair as noticeable as yourselves can try. The room is quiet, and the two of you decided to watch T.V while you continually expand.
