About This Interactive |
The owner of this Interactive Story begins with this information and guidance:
The elemental land of Shidirion and the magical land of Orath have been searching for the Guardstone, a stone the gives the wielder command of any battle, for centuries. They have heard that the Guardstone is hidden within the center of the Lyrian Forest, but faint whispers have also been heard of a woman in a high cave of the desolate North who wields a stone of mighty power. In the search for the Guardstone, Shidirion and Orath have become enemies and are on the verge of war. But what neither country can ignore is the Lyrian Forest that separates their countries. The Forest is dark and mysterious, feared by those who do not know it. Whoever enters the Forest never comes out, and it has been known to seduce unsuspecting travelers . . .
Because of the fact that the Lyrian Forest makes it physically impossible for Shidirion and Orath to go to war, both countries have now turned their attentions to it with the intention of destroying it and its people. And if the rumors that the Guradstone is within the Forest are true, whichever country reaches the center first will win the Guardston.
Whichever country in possession of the Guardstone can finally exact its revenge upon the other country, and their centuries of hatred will finally be at an end. They have only to kill the savage Lyrian and victory will be theirs.
But what if the Lyrian people are not the savages rumor puports them to be? What if they do not kidnap travelers but instead allow them to live peacefully withing the bounds of their forest? What if the only reason the boundary around the Forest exists is because the Lyrian wish to lead peacful lives, ones without war?
