(A/N: Think of this as an alternate story of the one I did with Jake. It takes place in the same universe, but this will have a vastly different story-----mostly)
May lumbered her way down the streets of Petalburg City, getting all sorts of attention of the mostly normal-sized people. Most people in May's home town were normal-sized, but there were a few exceptions; Officer Jenny was at 10,000 pounds and the only person that was remotely close to May's incredible 19,000 pounds. For this reason, Jenny tried to keep on May's good side, lest she be eaten by the girl. As a pokemon trainer, May liked to challenge people to a pokemon battle--she would eat the loser and all of their pokemon...the winner would go free. Ever since May had gained the ability to eat people, she had challenged many trainers and had won...she must've eaten 300 people thus far and all of their pokemon hence why she weighed so much. A few people of Petalburg City had started to revere May because of her weight. In fact, there were small cults popping up in every region that revered people like May. There were whispered rumors about the champion of the far-off Sinnoh region, Cynthia, that she had gained her own church....but information about Cynthia was awfully sketchy at best. Anyway, who cared about a person that was far away like Cynthia?
May looked around for some breakfast to have. She looked hungrily at random people, which scared them to no end. May was bigger than anybody else she knew, but she didn't let it go to her head....most of the time anyway. May had bullied the people of Petalburg into making her breakfast everyday. There were companies of people that made jumbo-sized food just for May and her brother. Pancakes the size of the pokemon gym was the usual breakfast that they made for May....there simply was no way to make anything else that large. Food for May usually was outside of the city itself on a large plate that was made specially for the giant May. Today, as May walked out of the city, she saw the plate of food filled with scrambled eggs and two giant pieces of toast. May came to the plate and peered closer at the offered meal; there must've been at least 1,300 eggs that made up the gigantic scrambled egg. The toast was real bread, although May couldn't figure out how the people managed to toast a piece of bread that size---helped by fire-type pokemon probably. Besides the plate was a water tower filled with gallons of orange juice. Besides May's plate was a much smaller plate for Max.
As May and Max dug into their giant-sized breakfast, May noticed that a normal-sized man was hanging around at the treeline some 25 feet away. The man was wearing a dark tee-shirt with jean shorts and a strange hairdo donned his head. As May looked at him, the man came forward.
"Who are you?" asked Max, who hadn't noticed the man until now.
"My name is not important now" said the man. "I just wanted to see May"
"You're one of my admirers?" asked May. The man smiled.
"You could say that"
"What do you want?" asked May. "want to challenge me? You know what happens if you lose, right?"
"Perhaps later" said the man. "and don't be so sure that I would lose"
"Then what?" asked Max.
"I just wanted to warn you that this world is about to change in a big way" said the man.
"Really?" asked May. "it already has changed...or haven't you noticed that a lot of people can eat people now. I would say that the world has really changed"
"That is only the beginning, Miss Maple" said the man. "soon the race will begin"
"What race?" asked Max.
"The race to see who will be king of the mountain so to speak" said the man. "know that life will get really interesting in the coming months"
The man then walked back into the trees and vanished from sight. May stared at where the man had been standing for a moment, shrugged, and continued with her meal. Max, on the other hand, was thinking about what the man had just said.
After breakfast, May was still a little hungry so she hunted up some challengers to have a pokemon battle with. Pretty soon, May had a total of five challengers...she only lost one battle.
