A short interlude.....



Three men entered the vaulted chamber of the ancient temple that was discovered just days ago by Professor Moss, an Archaeology professor from Viridian City. The temple was in a remote part of the Kanto region. The temple was found purely by accident as the professor went exploring near an ancient fossil digsite where he had been working at. The temple was fairly old...Professor Moss guessed that it was a little more than five hundred years old. Two days after this landmark discovery, the professor finally decided to send three of his students that were working at the digsite to fully explore the newly-founded temple. The professor couldn't go explore the temple because he was far too busy at the digsite. The temple was a good day's travel from the digsite.
Only one of the students--Alfred--had a flashlight with him...not that the temple was poorly lighted or anything. The temple was four stories high and was a rumbling building. Nearly all of the temple was covered by vines and moss.
Alfred, Jerry and Dennis entered the temple now, passing by a headless statue of a woman with a potbelly. Dennis, the eldest one there, felt a slight tingling sensation as he passed by the statue. This temple seemed familiar to Dennis. He had a feeling that he had seen that same statue before.....back at that older temple in his home region of Hoenn...back at the place where he worshiped......could this be another temple to the goddess of fat and fertility?
The three men walked into an antechamber that led into the cathedral itself. It was dark in the main part of the temple, but Dennis could dimly see there was a huge statue near the altar at the far end of the hall.
"Let's split up to search this place quicker" said Jerry.


"Touch not the offering table or the food upon it and you shall not be punished" came a booming voice in the direction of the altar.

"Is someone there?" called out Alfred. There was no reply.

"A recorded voice?" asked Jerry. "in some place this old?" The voice did sound like it had came from a tape recorder.

"Just someone trying to scare us with a cheap trick" said Dennis. "must've been triggered by..." his voice faded away as a soft chuckling sound came from the altar. The next minute, a woman wearing a white toga stepped from the darkness and into the small light of the flashlight. The woman had fiery red hair done in a long braid that reached her ankles and had eyes that seemed to pierce you down to your soul. None of the three men could look into her eyes for long. The woman was six feet tall and was sporting an absolutely huge stomach....far too big to make sense. The woman had a necklace around her neck as well as golden earrings. The woman was also very busty.

"One of you I know" said the woman, pointing at Dennis. The voice of the woman didn't match the booming voice from earlier.

"You know her, Dennis?" asked Alfred. When Dennis didn't reply, Alfred looked around to see Dennis kneeling in front of the woman.

"Dennis?" asked Jerry,

"Who are you?" asked Alfred to the woman.

"Welcome to my lost and nearly-forgotten temple" said the woman, gently stroking Dennis's cheek. "I knew you would be the one who found it"

"Um....Dennis?" asked Jerry, backing up two or three steps.

"My apologies" said the woman, now looking at Jerry and Alfred as though she was first noticing them. "I am known as Eatana, goddess of fat and fertility"

"Eatana?" asked Jerry. "I'm not familiar with you"

"I have a much smaller flock now" said Eatana. "I have enough to still exist now"

"O mighty Eatana" said Dennis. "I offer myself to you"

"A tempting offer" said Eatana, licking her lips in a way that made Jerry and Alfred's knees buckle but they still remained standing. "but I had my offering for the day" with that, she patted and stroked her belly.

"One offering cannot possibly sustain you" said Dennis.

"So true" said Eatana. "but...I want to get to know all of you a bit better before I....eat you"








(A/N: I had that scene in my head for some time and it wasn't connected to this interactive or the pokemon universe for that matter. It was just three men who discovered an ancient temple who meet up with a goddess. I decided to introduce Eatana in this fashion because I thought it was a fun idea)
