Over the years, Gohan had grown restless with his position. Sure, he was happy being with Mirai but he was tired of always being the little one doing all the work. More often than not, Mirai forced him to do things to him instead Mirai doing things for Gohan. He also didn't like the way he was starting to be treated: like a toy and not like a partner. The more Gohan thought about it, the more he realized where it all stemmed. From Vegeta. Ever since this whole thing had started, Vegeta had done things the way he wanted them done and Trunks and Mirai had just got lucky he wasn't being a total ass. Finally Gohan came to a conclusion. He had to find some way to get the power from Vegeta. He mulled ideas over but couldn't think of anything. The ray gun had merged with Vegeta's body as well as the dragon balls. No one could get them out. Then he got an idea. Vegeta had control over the dragon balls and the ray. That's what made him so powerful. But he still had the dragon balls. In theory, Gohan could still possible make a wish on the dragon balls and take Vegeta's power from him in order to create a more fitting ruling. A more just empire with him at the head.

But this could be dangerous. He might need help. So after Mirai fell asleep that night, Gohan flew off and into Trunk's room. Goten was laying on his chest, asleep. He woke him up and said, "Follow me."

Goten sleepily did so until they were in the hallway. It was lucky that Trunks had stayed over at Mirai's palace. They'd have to move fast to make it to Vegeta's palace before he woke up.

"What is it Gohan?" Goten asked.

"I'm sick of being in this position. Aren't you?"

"What do you mean?"

"Aren't you tired of Trunks always forcing you to do all the work? When was the last time you relaxed and he did something for you?"

Goten thought about it and said, "Probably over a year by now..."

"Then you're even worse off then me!" Gohan said angrily. "I'm going to go to Vegeta's palace and take the power from him. Will you help me?"

"How do expect to do that?"

"Since Vegeta absorbed the dragon balls, he should be, in theory, a living source of dragon ball magic. If we make a wish while he's asleep, we might be able to take the power from him. Then we would be the giants and they would worship us!"

Goten grinned as he imagined that. "I'm in!"

Gohan smiled and said, "Then let's go!"

They both flew out of the palace and sped off as fast as possible to Vegeta's palace. They managed to get there a few hours before dawn. They quietly flew into Vegeta's bedroom. He was asleep, the covers thrown off to reveal Goku asleep as well, only tangled in Vegeta's pubic hair. The two boys flew over to Vegeta and took a deep breath to make their wish hoping it would work.
