Before their eyes, Vegeta's mere inches high body began to dwindle further! In a matter of moments, he was only a half inch tall.

"Oooh!" Bulma said frustratedely. "This thing is so complicated!"

She opened the machine back up and began to tinker with it again. Goku bent down and peered at the tiny Vegeta. He reached out with both hands and very gently scooped him up. Vegeta attempted to fly away and fired ki blasts at the hands, but Goku didn't even feel the ki blasts and keeping Vegeta from flying away was like trying to keep a firefly cupped in your hands. See you later!"

She grabbed a clipboard on her way out that had the specs for the machine and her notes on creating it before dashing out the door. Goku looked at the machine, then looked thoughtfully down at the shrunken Vegeta. Vegeta looked nervous as he saw that look. He knew that look. It was the look Kakarot got whenever he was excited. He didn't know, nor did he want to know, what Goku was finding exciting about this. He would've started shouting and demanding to be returned to his normal size, but Goku probably wouldn't be able to hear him so well even if he shouted. Goku seemed to come to some kind of internal conclusion because he capsulized the machine and put it in his pocket before using Instant Transmission to disappear from Capsule Corp and reappear inside his own house. Vegeta wasn't expecting that, and was disoriented from the sudden dizzying change of scenery. He wanted badly to start chewing Goku out for this, but he knew it would be no good and kept quiet, conserving his energy for when Goku returned him to normal size.

"IF he returns you to normal size." a nasty voice piped up from the back of his mind.

Vegeta crushed this voice thouroughly. Goku was a goody two shoes, always doing exactly what was right. He would never keep Vegeta captive against his will.

Vegeta became less and less sure as Goku set him down on the nightstand next to his bed and sat down on the bed himself.

"Okay, Vegeta, hear me out for awhile then I'll return you to normal size."

"It's been a rough couple of years since Goten was born. I've been completely unable to have any kind of sexual relationship with Chi-Chi because if I did I would crush her pelvis and who knows what else. I know you've been experiencing the same problems with Bulma after Trunks was born."
