It was a beautiful day in Dragon World. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and Goten and Gohan were sparring. They'd been out there for a few hours already and Chi-Chi was, needless to say, upset.
"Spending all their time out there fighting! As if there isn't a hundred other things they should be doing!" She grumbled washing dishes.
Moments later they both came in.
"It's about time you two came back!" She yelled turning to face them.
"Sorry Mom, but Goten really wanted to train with me." Gohan explained.
She looked down at Goten who seemed to be downcast about something.
"What's wrong Goten?" She asked in a quieter, nicer tone.
"I lost." He said dejectedly.
"Well, Gohan is older than you. And that means that he's going to be bigger and stronger than you. Wait until you get older and one day you'll be able to beat him!" Chi-Chi encouraged.
"But I can't wait that long!" Goten said.
"You're going to have too." She said returning to the dishes.
Gohan went to his room to study and Goten decided to go visit Trunks. He told Chi-Chi where he was going and flew to Capsule Corp. He knocked on the doors and Bulma answered it.
"Hello Goten! Are you here to see Trunks?" Bulma asked.
"Yes." Goten said.
"Well come in! He's upstairs in his room." Bulma said.
Goten ran inside and up the stairs to Trunks' room. He closed the door behind him and saw Trunks was holding something.
"What's that?" Goten asked.
"It's the Dragon Radar! I'm going to find the Dragonballs and make a wish!"
"What are you going to wish for?" Goten asked.
"I'm going to wish myself taller!" Trunks said.
"Really? Can I too?" Goten asked.
"If you help me sure!" Trunks said.
"Let's go!" Goten said.
So they jumped out the window and flew towards the nearest one on the Radar.
