Kohaku slowly stood up as he continued to grow bigger and bigger. Inuyasha hesitated as Kohaku grew over the trees and still bigger. His sandals, made from magic resistant wood, had burst and been crushed under Kohaku's feet. When the growth ended Inuyasha reached only to his toes. Everyone was momentarily paralyzed by the sudden change in Kohaku.
"What happened to him?" Sango asked.
Kagome looked all over him and soon found the sacred jewel shards in his stomach.
"He swallowed the jewel shards!" Kagome said.
Suddenly Kohaku got a glazed look in his eyes and he lifted his foot and tried to smash Inuyasha, but he dodged.
"He's still being controlled by Naraku." Miroku said.
Kohaku tried to crush Miroku this time, but they kept dodging.
"We have to get those jewel shards out of him!" Sango said.
"Yeah? How?" Inuyahsa said dodging.
He was getting ready to use his sword on him.
