As the wicked anime villains began formulating a plan under their evil mysterious leader, Inuyasha was walking back down the confusing stairway to the Gates of Heaven. It didn't take long and as soon as he got there, Cassandra jumped up from her desk and said, "Follow me."

Inuyasha followed her back up the stairs, but they took a different path then the one that led to Washu's office. It didn't take long to reach another door which Cassandra promptly threw open. She pushed him inside and said, "The others will be here shortly. Once this door closes, you will shrink down to your normal size and the room will contract to fit you. I'm sorry I have to be so blunt, but there's a major line up out there."

And with that, the door closed. Inuyasha didn't feel any different but he must've shrunk along with the room. He looked around and saw he was in a rather large room with a white screen against the far wall as well as a table in the center of the room. Inuyasha sat down in a red chair and waited for the others. He noticed a strange machine that was placed on the table. It looked like someone attached a telescope to a black box of some sort. A wheel with different picture pieces stuck in it could be spun around. Inuyasha was wondering what it was for, when the door opened and Cassandra shoved another person in. He was rather tall with spiky black hair and wearing matching orange pants and shirt. Cassandra said, "Sit down, don't ask any questions, the others will be here shortly."

The door slammed shut again and the man looked around. Finally, he sat down in an orange chair across from Inuyasha.

"Who are you?" Inuyasha asked.

"I'm Goku." The man said. "Do you know what's going on here? I was on my way home with grocercies Chi-Chi asked me to buy, but then I was suddenly in front of these gates and that woman led me here."

"I'm not even really sure what's going on!" Inuyasha said. "Let's just say we have to save the Universe."

Before Goku could ask anymore questions, the door opened again and Cassandra was shoving a kid with spiky blond hair into the room. Like Goku, he was dressed in orange and had these wierd whisker lines down his cheeks. He turned around and shouted out the door, "Hey, hey! Don't push me old lady! I can walk by myself you know!"

Cassandra ignored the old lady remark, but her eye twitched slightly. She contented herself with saying, "Sit down, shut up, and wait for the others."

The door slammed once again. Instantly the kid turned to the other two and said, "Alright, just what the heck is going on here?"

Before Inuyasha or Goku could say anything the door opened again and another person was shoved in, knocking the first kid down. This new guy had bright orange hair and was dressed all in black with a huge sword on his back. He had managed to stay upright while the kid had been knocked flat on his back. He quickly sat up and said, "Watch where you're going you idiot!"

The kid with orange hair slammed a foot onto the blonde kid's chest and said, "What did you call me you little punk?!?"

Instantly, Cassandra was in between the two, pushing them apart.

"Stop this right now! You all have to work together, not tear each other apart! Now sit down and wait for the others!"

Sulkily, the two boys sat down, the blonde kid in a yellow chair, and the orange haired kid in a black chair. The door closed and an uncomfortable silence spun out. In an attempt to break the silence, Goku asked, "So who are you two?"

The blonde kid instantly jumped up and said, "My name is Naruto Uzumaki, and someday, I'm going to be the number one ninja in my village!"

The orange haired kid sighed and said, "I'm Ichigo Kurosaki, substitute Soul Reaper."

Before anyone could ask what a Soul Reaper was, the door opened yet again and once more Cassandra was shoving someone through once again. This kid looked abnormally short and had large spiky tri-colored hair. Once more, Cassandra advised him to be quiet, sit down, and wait. The boy sat in a purple chair and looked around. Inuyasha noticed he was wearing a strange gold necklace. The boy broke the silence and said, "So does anyone know what's going on here? My name is Yugi Moto by the way."

"This guy in the red said we had to save the Universe. Not that, that's a new thing for me." Goku said, indicating Inuyasha.

Once again, before Inuyasha could say anything, the door opened. But it opened much wider than it had before. Strangely, a red and blue truck rumbled in and stopped by the table.

"Yes, just sit down and wait. Only one more person has yet to arrive."

The door closed and everyone stared at the truck. All of their eyes widened as the truck suddenly transformed into a giant robot. This robot sat down in a huge blue chair at the head of the table and looked around.

Goku leaned over to Ichigo and asked, "What is that thing?"

"You're asking me?" Ichigo said in disbelief.

"Excuse me, but I'm not a thing!" The robot said. "My name is Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots and sworn enemy of Megatron."

Naruto jumped up again and shouted, "What the heck are you talking about?"

Optimus was about to answer when the door opened again and the last person arrived. His black hair was slicked back and he was wearing a white shirt with blue jeans and sneakers. His hands were in his pockets and he turned back to Cassandra as she said, "I'm sorry I can't conduct this meeting myself. I'll be sending someone up as soon as I can."

The door closed, and the boy looked around the table at the assembled crew. He sat down in the only remaining chair, a green one, and said, "Hey, the name's Yusuke Urameshi."

Everyone took this opportunity to introduce themselves. Soon, everyone knew everyone at the table, by name if not by experience. The silence was palpable as they all waited to see who would be conducting this meeting. They didn't have to wait long. The door opened and a cheerful looking girl with blue hair and a pink kimono walked in and said, "Hello everyone! My name is Botan!"

Yusuke's mouth dropped open in surprise and he said, "Botan?!? What are you doing here?"

"Silly Yusuke!" She said, walking to the screen. "I'm here to conduct this meeting. Now that the Barriers have been broken, anyone can travel to different Universes if they have the means. I just flew here on my oar!"

She cleared her throat and looked much more serious. "Now then. To business."

She pulled out a small remote and clicked it at the projector that was on the table. Instantly a picture of a Universe popped up.

"This is a Universe. Normally it's seperated from other Universes by Barriers. These were created at the same time as the multiple Universes to keep the negative and positive energies of each Universe seperate. This is a delicate balance and it has been disrupted by an unknown force. Whoever, or whatever, he is, he's very powerful and he has assembled a force of villains to take over the Universes for himself. We think he might be picking up where the first group of seven left off. It will be your jobs to fix the Barriers and defeat the evil wherever it surfaces. To do this, you will have to travel to various worlds and find seven artifacts that were hidden there long ago. Only with these seven powerful objects will you be able to fight against the armies of darkness. Now, while you seven will be artifact hunting, the evil seven will be amassing its armies to take over. This is a good thing, because their eyes will be directed elsewhere. If they do find out what we're doing, they will surely send someone after you and delay the process of artifact hunting. Be warned: Each of these artifacts holds untold amounts of power. With it, you will be able to obliterate your foes. Combine all seven, and a power will be unleashed that is so enormous, it will eradicate the forces of darkness and fix the Barriers. That is your mission."

While she had talked different pictures had gone by and they were now at the end of them. She smiled and said, "You will now go see Washu and Koenma so they may send you to your first destination."

"What, Koenma is here too?" Yusuke asked incredulously.

"Oh yes! He demanded to have a part in organizing this. Washu wasn't very happy as you can imagine."

With that, she opened the door and ushered everyone out. She closed the door behind them and they all headed up to Washu's office.
