Weevil had successfully guided Rex out of the building before he exploded in size. He almost mowed Weevil over with his expanding bare feet, but Weevil managed to latch on and get pulled up onto it before he would have gotten crushed. He then walked along the massive foot as he took in the sight of the growth. He looked up to see his best friend reaching 1000 feet tall, almost as tall as the tallest skyscraper! Now Weevil wouldn't ever mention this to Rex, but he always had a crush on his best friend and even had dreams of being bug-sized next to him. Little did he know that Rex felt similar about Weevil, wanting Weevil to shrink down so that he could care for him.Weevil looked up at Rex as Rex looked down at the tiny speck on top of his foot, knowing it to be Weevil.

Suddenly, Rex and Weevil both realized that Rex's close had torn right off his body! Not only that, but Rex had gotten hard at what had happened. Weevil had gotten hard as well, but tried to cover it up shyly. Rex then bent his knees in a crouch to get a closer look at the little Weevil on his foot, rather embarrassingly, "Erm... that stuff didn't grow my clothes with me." Weevil then looked at Rex's face, which had turned bright red at the sight. He stuttered nervously himself, "T-T-That's Ob-obvious! Y-You really did-didn't think that you would k-keep your c-c-clothes, would you!?"

Rex could somehow hear the little Weevil despite his size, but didn't question why as he blushed embarrassingly, "Well, I suppose not..." then he noticed the stutter, something he had never heard Weevil do ever except that one time when Rex walked out of the shower nude, forgetting that he had Weevil over for company. He knew that Weevil never had a reaction like that with pictures of nude women, but still couldn't figure it out. However, he decided to play the sarcastic card, "...and why are you stuttering so much? Usually you have SUCH a way with words."

Weevil eeped at this. At first, he thought that Rex had figured it out, but that wasn't it. Rex wasn't exactly the most intelligent person in the world, but that's part of why Weevil was attracted to his best friend. He then figured that Rex would never figure it out, so he decided to blurt it out himself and save them both of the awkward silence of a 1000 foot tall naked giant talking to a guy on the top of his foot, "Rex, you probably wouldn't get it if I tried to tell you another way, so I'll tell you directly. I... I love you, Rex. More than one friend can love another friend. Even I didn't realize it at first until you took that growth serum, but being in this position, I-"

Just as Weevil was about to keep going, Rex chimed in, "I love you too, Weevil. In fact, I'm glad things turned out this way. I've always had a thing with you being a bug to me that I would care for and now that dream of mine has come true!" Weevil heard this wide-eyed and fell over in shock, "I-I've had the same dream. I wanted to be shrunken down so that I could be yours to do with what you wished and now, it seems both of our dreams have come true, though not in the way either of us expected it!"

Rex then grinned, "Well then. Do you think that you could figure out an antidote for this so I could get back to normal?" Weevil then shrugged, knowing exactly what Rex was thinking, "It'd take a lot of time, probably several weeks to figure out the antidote and then another month or two to work on a shrinking potion."

Rex frowned, "But I can't wait that long!" before Weevil chimed in, "Well why are you complaining? You have me and you're 1000 feet tall! How about putting me somewhere safe on you and you can have some fun!" Rex's frown turned into a smirk as he looked at the expanse of his new playground, "Why didn't I think of that before?" as he puts Weevil...
