Yusuke opened the door to his house cooling down after the initial dissapointment of a defective weapon. He threw himself in front of the T.V. His mother had gone out to who knows where and as Yusuke watched T.V. he began to drift in and out of sleep. Soon he was fast asleep. He woke up the next morning, still on the couch. He stretched his stiff legs and they went off the edge of the couch and into the wall. He pulled them back in surprise. The distance between the couch and the wall was about a foot. And he hadn't even stretched out fully.
"I guess that ring Boton gave me worked a little after all!" Yusuke said standing up. His head was a few inches from the eight foot ceiling. Since he was wearing his clothes when the growth started in the night they had grown with him, but he'd taken off his shoes and socks so he was stuck barefoot.
"I'll have to tell Boton the ring is kinda defective the next time I see her." He said opening the door to his house. He walked out and banged his head on the doorframe.
"Ouch! I've got to duck now I guess." He said ducking and leaving.
Unbeknownst to him, however, was that the ring responded to his pain. He grew more as he left his apartment traveling up from 7'10'' to 8'6''.
