"I'm gonna squash ya like a bug!" Matt says, rolling poor Tai under the ball of his foot and smothering him into the white sock. "Should've done this from the start!"

"No!!" screams Tai, trying to push the god's foot off him but knowing it was useless. "We're supposed to be friends, Matt! You can't kill me!"

"Friends?" questioned Matt. "Gods have no need for friends; just slaves. And you're a bad slave, Tai, so I'm gonna have to put you down." Tai was hyperventilating. He never expected this to happen to him. Power had changed his friend into a monster. He felt the sweaty sole push down harder as Matt started to apply more pressure. Tai's face was being squeezed between a wall of flesh and the white cotton of Matt's discarded sock.

"Don't do this, please! I'm sorry! I won't run away again! Please don't crush me!" Tai shouted. More random pleas followed, but they all fell on deaf ears. Or perhaps Matt was just too intoxicated with power that he was oblivious to anything but his domination of his former buddy.

"Bye bye, Tai."

"Noooo--" the scream was cut short when Tai's head burst, followed by the rest of his weak, feeble body. Matt lifted his foot and inspected the remains which had become stuck on his foot. Tai wasn't even recognizable anymore; just a small, red stain on his flawless sole.

"Just like a bug." Matt looked down at his sock, seeing that it had also been stained with Tai's messy innards. "Ugh, he ruined a perfectly good sock. Oh well..."

As Matt took off his other shoe and sock to make himself more comfortable, he started to thing about Tai's replacement...
