The light slowly faded around Robin as the spell took full effect. They waited to see what would happen to him, if anything. Nothing did.

"Did it work?" Robin asked.

"It had to." Raven said, flipping to a reference page in one of her reference almanacs of magic. "I did the spell exactly as it was recorded, I specified a target, and I chanted the spell correctly. You now have unlocked a latent power within you. Whatever it is, you should know a little bit about it yourself."

Robin searched his mind for the answer. He delved deep into his memories and found a small patch of glowing black and white in his mind's eye. Yes, there it was! An ability he forgot he knew! He pulled a small tendril of that glowing pool from the dark recesses of his mind and brought it to the surface. He felt a little strength leave him, but nothing too bad. He activated that power, sending a mental note reverberating around the area. Everyone waited with bated breath to see what would happen next. Suddenly, they heard a splash and the sound of several feet slapping against pavement.

"Come on!" Robin shouted, leading the way to the outside of the tower.

What they saw there both shocked them, and left them in a wondering awe.

Penguins.

Dozens of penguins.

"What?" was all Robin could managed to say.

They watched as the penguins waddled around on the island, picking at the joints of their wings and some carrying tiny fluffly grey penguin babies. Once they heard Robin, a few detached from the main group and cuddled against him. One squaked and saluted him.

Everyone sweatdropped.

Aqualad suddenly groaned and sat up, holding his head.

"What happened? And why are there penguins all over the place?"

"This is pathetic." Raven said. "Your latent talents are controlling penguins?"

"It's not my fault!" He argued.

"Well this just sucks!" Cyborg said. "We have three giants on the loose, no way to shrink them, and the most powerful spell in the world gave our leader the ability to control penguins! Now what?"

"Maybe I should cast the spell again..." Raven said.

As they discussed, the giants were just finishing their negotiations.

"Okay." Beast Boy said. "So we all share Star but I get special treatment because I was the first giant."

"Agreed." Everyone said.

"Also since I was first, I'm the leader."

"Agreed." Everyone said.

"Now we just have to decide who's going to rule what. There's seven continents right? Depending on the size of the continents we'll have to have more giants loyal to us to help rule."

"Or we could just get bigger." Kidflash suggested.

"That too." Beast Boy agreed.

"Whatever we do, I'm sure it will be the best we can do!" Starfire said.
