The night passed rather uneventfully, with no sudden ninja attacks in the night, which annoyed Naruto greatly.

"What's the point of being bigger and stronger, if you can't do anything with it?" He had thought grumpily before he went to bed last night.

But now the morning was upon them and that meant another chance to risk your life in a bloody battle. Naruto was quick to get out of his sleeping bag and start packing up. He was eager to move on. Sakura got up much more slowly, annoyed at Naruto who was already ready to go. Sakura noticed he had altered a spare pair of clothes slightly. He was wearing only his jacket which was open, revealing his increasingly muscular chest and abs, while his pants were cut to make shorts. The whole thing was still pretty tight and uncomfortable, but at least he wouldn't have to fight ninja in his underpants.

"Come on Sakura!" Naruto said, practically quivering with excitement. "Let's go already! I'll bet Kakashi-sensei and that girl are already to go."

Sakura noticed he didn't mention Sasuke, but was too tired to say anything. She groaned and got out of her sleeping bag. As she stood, Naruto couldn't help but stare. Her nightgown, which had been so long the night before, was hiked up a foot higher than normal going from reaching her shins to reaching to just below her thighs. She hadn't noticed this yet and when she bent over to roll up her sleeping back Naruto got a full look at her panty clad bottom. He quickly turned around and snorted out his nosebleed, before turning back and saying, "Uh Sakura?"

"What?" She said, looking back at him, still bent over.

"You're nightclothes are a little short and I can, um..see things." He said, blushing red.

Sakura quickly stood up and saw he was right! She had been showing Naruto her nearly exposed butt! Instantly she grabbed a nearby rock and threw it as hard as she could at Naruto's head. It hit him squarely on the forehead, knocking him over and creating a lump.

"How dare you stare at me like that you pervert!" Sakura screamed scandalized. "Don't you know it's not polite to stare at a lady you freak!"

Before Naruto could do or say anything Sakura had disappeared behind a tree to get dressed. Her usual outfit was a little shorter and tighter than normal, but at least it still fit reasonably well. Sakura was so angry at Naruto that she didn't notice the small amount of new muscle she had developed. It was nowhere close to Naruto's gain, but it was something.

Having finished getting dressed, Naruto and Sakura made their way through the trees to where Kakashi, the Maiden, and Sasuke were waiting. Kakashi and Sasuke both looked shocked as Naruto and Sakura came approached and not just because Naruto looked so ridiculous wearing clothes too small for him. Despite the fact that Naruto had been growing slowly throughout the day and night, he was still just a few inches shorter than Kakashi, but he wasn't far from surpassing him. However, he was much taller than Sasuke now, a fact which he gleefully noted. Even Sakura was taller than Sasuke, but she was shorter than Kakashi by a fair bit. Everyone just stood around for awhile, wondering what the heck was going on. Naruto started shifting around, getting impatient.

"Hey, hey, are we going or what?" He asked impatiently.

"Naruto." Kakashi said sensibly. "I think it's slightly more important we find out why, in one day and night, you've grown over a foot taller."

"It's called puberty Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto said. "I'm just getting mine all at once!"

"It doesn't work that way you moron!" Sakura yelled smacking him in the head.

"This looks to me like a jutsu gone wrong." Kakashi said. "What were you two doing last night?"

They quickly explained the Giant Justsu and how it seemed to fail.

"Well, it's obvious that you messed up somehow and now the jutsu is working, but at a slower rate." Kakashi said. "So just reverse it and you'll go back to normal."

Sakura instantly tried to release the jutsu, but nothing happened.

"It's not working!" She said in surprise.

Kakashi looked surprised as well. But then he looked suspicious.

"Where exactly did you find this jutsu Naruto?"

Naruto instantly looked guilty and everyone knew he must've stolen it from somewhere.

"Um...I found it...in a scroll..." He said vaguely.

"What scroll?"

"The Scroll of Sealing?" Naruto said quietly.

Everyone present, except the Maiden, slapped a hand to their foreheads. Jutsu in the Scroll of Sealing was powerful and hard to control. Naruto had no idea what he was tampering with. Now they were stuck with it.

"Well, I suppose there's nothing we can do about it for now." Kakashi said. "We'll finish the mission and then when we get back sort out this mess."

And with that, they were back on the road again.
