He already had two good sets off wood with him, meaning this would be the last for the day. "We can't stay forever on this island..." He moaned swinging again, hearing the tree crack. The tree finally fell after a few more swings, finishing his work for the day. "I've got to get another job tomorrow..." He was a lazy man sometimes, so it was a surprise he had as much muscle as he did. He knelt down to pick up the wood but caught site of another object, something that was gold and sparkling to his right.
Upon touching it, the gold light grew blinding then quickly vanished as soon as it came. A little bit spooked, the man (Tal) backed away. He picked up the wood and went on his way, hoping to not regret what he just did. Once he reached their campsite on the beach, he spent the rest of the day preparing the campfire and food for the night before heading to sleep. Overnight... Where will this story go next?
